Lunch Time🍱:
"Oye Max! Did you get your English text book?" Asked my friend, Fil'o Robert. "Yea!"I said and unzipped my bag, I shuffled through my bag and dumped the other books outside. "Guess I have a company!" Said Lena, as she placed her hand over my shoulder. I glanced at her, shoving off her hand from my shoulder. "Better luck next time Lena!"I said making my way out. 'Did I sound mocking enough? I shouldn't be rude next time! Image matters!' I thought, sub conscious, not liking the thought of being with Lena.
She is a bully among the girls and once she sets her mind on someone, then they go nuts, just like I do. All she know is how to seduce guys other than anything.
I approach my locker, and open it. I find my text book standing vertical, but something catches my eye. It's the Journal! 'Who writes journals these days!' I thought.
Still carrying my text book in one hand, I was wondering if it was rude to read! Hmm...I mean, if I don't open, I cant give them back to it's owner. Ugh! This dilemma!
Okay! I'll skip the rest of the hours for now! I'll head to library. Also skipping few classes really doesn't matter. Plus, I'll think 'I'm doing something good'!
I carry my English textbook and this journal to the library. I give a small nod to the Librarian who sits at her place indulging in a book. I find a corner place with ample amount of light and privacy, that is near the window.
I place the books on the table and fetch a water bottle from the machine, which has soft drinks of all kinds. I open the cap and take a sip.
I inhale, nervous, with the feeling that is binding me, that I am actually wrong! 'Dude, are you serious?' I questioned myself. But regardless of that, I have made up my mind. I've come this far,so this shouldn't be my problem!Ha-ha, then it's fine.
I open the book and see a beautiful painting of a girl seeing herself in the mirror. 'Eyes look sad'I thought, imaging the writer. I touch the painting, feeling the texture of the paints. The girl there had a beautiful shoulder-length hair, looking keenly into the mirror, her eyes having the dismal look.Below the painting it said, "What you see in the mirror, is not always true. It's just a reflection of hoax that you exhibit to the world."
So deep. Suits everyone, also me. Why she had to think this way? What was she thinking, making this picture.
I look at the bottom of the page, "Never known girl, Evelyn."
Evelyn? Wait! There are many people out there with the same name. Most and Least popular! How can I find? May be she could be my junior too. Ugh!
Anyways, let's continue reading!
