Dozens of shadows flashed inconsistently in a small courtyard, sometimes it seems illusory while at times it seems congealed.
Thud!
A small figure appeared in one corner of the courtyard, under the shade of a tree that was planted in it, it made the figure looked mystifying.
Whew.. Han let out a breath of air.
Under the glaring heat of the sun, beads of sweat were trickling non stop on Han's small back. The intense training session for the "Mirage Steps" had made his muscles heated up, tempering and solidifying them, turning the excess baby fat that was still on his little body into firm slim muscles.
It was a slow process.
After finishing his set, Han sat down in a lotus form and began to relax his mind, inspecting his progress with "Mirage Step"
Martial Skills : "Mirage Steps" lvl 4/10 (200/500)
'Hai... seems like the progress has been stagnating after hitting level 3'
His cultivation of "Mirage Steps" had already reached the 4th stage in just 2 hours of practice. Who will ever believe such rocket speed of cultivation? Letting others know about this fact is just blatantly telling them that cultivating was pointless.
You're trash! A little boy took merely over 2 hours to master it to the 4th stage! What about you? 10 years? Humph! Go kill yourself!
Yet he was depressed that his progress was stagnating? Just that thought alone would make others wallow in despair.
He looked at his own personal level that was on the data panel, still 0, he felt sour, yet was unable to do anything about it, it seemed like practicing alone wouldn't raise his cultivation level...
Was it rigged? He thought. But he shook his head soon after, no way, the system is so broken, its sick! It must be that the method of leveling was different.
Thankfully, through his continuous effort of practicing "Mirage Steps" his Agility stats had increased from 10 to 35.
For someone who has not a single shred of cultivation base, this was ungodly.
To be honest, such cultivating speed wasn't all due to the system that Han had, the body that he had took over had decent talent, it made the origin of this body all the more mysterious.
Can't figure out much without a lead anyways, regarding the background of this body, I will have to leave it to fate.
Han had been thinking about the body he resided in, was the boy dead in the first place? So through some miraculous encounter, his soul just took over the body?
It seemed likely.
But something within him told that the boy wasn't dead, it was more of a fusion between 2 souls.
It was true, it was more of a fusion between the original soul of the body and Han's soul. This fact made Han have a soul that was stronger than the common person. This resulted in him having a higher comprehension of techniques and understanding, which allowed him to cultivate quicker then the average joe.
Setting aside the complicated matters aside in his head. Han decided to continue the training.
Since his physical body was spent, he decided to train his soul.
Han took out the "Pangu Visualization Art". The book looked ancient, it looked like it was passed down through many generations before it got entrusted to him.
Whooo....
Han took in a deep breath, mentally preparing himself. It was the first time he was trying to train his soul. It unnerved him.
The soul was a debatable topic back on Earth. Some said souls exist, while others said its horseshit.
People who were religious or believed in faith claimed that patients who were comatose are actually conscious of their surroundings. It was as if their souls were awake, but the physical body refused to cooperate and shut itself down. They were alive yet they weren't at the same time, resulting in a comatose state.
But Han now knew that the human soul's existence was very real, there was even a visualization art for it, how else could it be fake?
