The first few day's on earth were really peaceful for me, I was able to adapt to the environment and blend into human society. It has been a total of one week since I left and still no contact with the target yet. Now was the time to confront him though. Even though it is nice hear I didn't want to stay longer than I had to. While on earth I'm not able to contact head quarters unless someone from HQ contacted you first, I hadn't gotten any messages so far. I was confident in my skill so don't expect to get any, any time soon.
"Today's the day!" I said to myself.
"If I remember correctly he goes to Westan High school and every day school ends at exactly 1(Hour) 30(Minute) 28(Second)." I say smirking to myself. Now at this point between me talking to myself and smirking in a creepy way people started to look at me as if I just got out of an insane asylum. So I stopped grinning and continued walking. I was going to wait till he got out of school so I can "accidentally" meet Christian.
I was in position and now I only had to wait for a total of thirty seconds for his school to be over. Now ten seconds, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one. RRRRIIIIIINNNNGGG. Schools out!
Now it's only a matter of seconds. I was standing there admiring how accurate my work is when a rush of people crowded the streets. It was a struggle to just stay on my feet. Before I knew it I was on the ground.
"Hey are you alright." Said a hand reaching out to me.
"Uh, yeah thank you." I say grabbing that hand. After grabbing the hand I looked up to see the man in front of me is none other than Christian Blank the person I had been searching for.
I hadn't expected to meet him this easily but well this just makes my life easier and my job quicker.
I tried to stand up but then my foot experienced a sharp pain which rendered me unable to stand.
"Oh hey, are you sure your alright?" Christian asked me, he caught me after I had once again lost my footing.
"Thank you again. My foot kinda hurts but I should be fine if I don't put pressure on it." I said.
"If you want I can help you to where ever your going." He suggested.
"Oh no, I couldn't trouble you anymore. You've already helped me I wouldn't want to be a burden." Since my first plan backfired and I couldn't take the lead, I decided to make him take the first step.
"Don't worry about it," he smiled, "I wanna help you. It's the least I can do."
Aha got him!
"Well okay then." I say.
I lead him to my temporary lodgings while he supports me on his shoulders.
"Well here we are. This is my house." I say letting him in. He guides me to my sofa and carefully sets me down.
"So, I didn't catch your name." I say trying to get him to talk about himself.
"It's Christian." He answers.
"Well Christian my name is Juhi." I say gracefully.
