Security Measures
On the other side..
Wang Ling and Fang Jie stood side by side, a moment of awkward silence, until Fang Jie decided to get the ball rolling.
"Wang Ling, are you hungry? wanna grab lunch together?" Fang Jie asked
"Alright, we could still celebrate your new position at Gao Holdings too!" Wang Ling's spirit was lifted up, since it was a double happiness day!
She felt relieved that she made the right choice, because she knew her baby brother will not disappoint her.
"I'm just curious...what made you changed your mind to reject the CEO position at Wang Group? Didn't you return to Shanghai for this?" Fang Jie casually asked as they chat over lunch.
"I didn't come back to take the position..." Wang Ling answered..but Fang Jie was even more intrigued by her.
"You came back to get married?" Fang Jie's question startled her, made her choked onto her food.
*COUGH COUGH*
"Ex..excuse me?.." Wang Ling's reaction obviously gave it away. Fang Jie handed her a napkin, but deep dow in his heart, he was smiling like an idiot.
'how is this woman so easy to read? but i can never read Wang Yan's mind? are they even really siblings?' Fang Jie thought to himself.
"Don't worry, you secret is safe with me. Just be careful of Daniel. He's....uh..very well-liked by women..." Fang Jie tried to hint, he didn't want Daniel swooning all over her.
Just like that, both of them shared a casual lunch together before Fang Jie return to Gao Holdings for a new start as the CEO.

The following week,
It was the day Wang Yan can finally discharge from the hospital.
"Remember to disinfect his wound and cleanse with this antiseptic twice a day. If there are any bleeding, please don't hesitate to give me a call." the doctor handed over wound-dressing and his name card to Ruo Qin.

They finally arrived back home. It seems like Renxi had the housekeepers to clean the penthouse everyday even no one was home.
James and Zoey did a thorough check on all the rooms making sure it was all clear for Wang Yan and Ruo Qin's return.
Luo wei have also upgraded the security systems with motion sensor with face recognition cameras. All windows are installed with bullet-proof panes and completely tinted from the outside.
It's almost impossible to trespass this fortress now.
"Um...Yan don't you think this is a little too much? We're not like the presidents or something. Do we need such heavy security?" Ruo Qin was not used to the extensive securities.
"Just in time, i want to speak to you about your safety...come.." Wang Yan lead her to the living hall and sat her down on the sofa.
On the coffee table, there were gadgets laid.
- Macbook
- iPhone
- Car keys
- Pepper spray
"Is this some kind of James Bond thing we have here?" Ruo Qin asked pointing to the gadgets, a little overwhelming for her.
Wang Yan couldn't help but let out a small laugh at her comment.
"This is a new macbook for you to do whatever you want. All activities, emails and any other forms of communications are encrypted. A new phone because your old phone, doesn't have a strong GPS tracking, again, all communication on this phone is encrypted." Wang Yan was interrupted.
"So why do i need a car and a pepper spray? since i have Zoey with me most of the time" Ruo Qin questioned.
"For your safety. The Mercedes e-class benz is one of the safest car existed. I need you to be safe at all times when i'm not with you. Any thing that threatens your safety, i want you covered in all aspects.. And a pepper spray, is just a back-up for yourself if all else fail. The classic aways work." Wang Yan handed over the keys to her hands.
"Lastly, you will be attending self-defense training with James and Zoey 2 times a week. You need some techniques to protect yourself." Wang Yan continued.
"You can teach me! I mean...it's more comfortable to have you to teach me. You know some martial arts right?" she suggested, as she still finds James and Zoey a little scary because of their face who never smile.
Wang Yan stopped and signaled James and Zoey to leave, as he walked towards Ruo Qin.
"Are you sure...? The training with me might end up as a intense and intimate training in the bedroom....i..may not control myself..." Wang Yan teased as he wrapped his arms around her waist and landed a soft kiss on her lips.
Her heart was throbbing.
This man knew the way to her heart.
"Are...are yyou hungry..? I'll go cook something!" Ruo Qin backed off afraid she might get drowned by his kiss.
Her reactions never fail to amaze Wang Yan, the look and gaze Wang Yan watched her, anyone could tell she was like his soul.
He's head over heels deeply in love with her.
"Oh crap...the ingredients are out. I'll go to the supermarket to stock up!" Ruo Qin opened the refrigerator and realized there's nothing much left.
"I'll get Renxi to do it." the moment when he picked up his cellphone ready to dial for Renxi...
"Hey..this is a girlfriend's job. Why are you tasking a guy to do it? I can do it as your girlfriend!" Ruo Qin stopped him from making the call.
He smiled and replied her.
"I'll come with you."

*DING*
The elevator door opened at the basement garage where a row of luxury cars were parked.
"You'll stay in the passenger seat. I'll drive!" Ruo Qin wanted to do the driving herself instead.
"As you please, girlfriend." Wang Yan toss the car keys to her as they walked towards the cars.
"So which car belongs to you?"
Ruo Qin was confused that the car Renxi normally drives was not there.
"All of them." Wang Yan tries to show off as a boyfriend.
Ruo Qin shocked for words, with her eyes widened.
There were a total of 6 high-end luxury cars that probably worth more than 5million dollars parked in the basement!
'Why does he even need so many cars???' she asked herself silently as she get buckled up in the driver's seat with Wang Yan in the passenger seat beside her.
"Let's go!" Ruo Qin pushed gear forward and starts the engine.
It shall be the very first time Wang Yan and Ruo Qin visit a supermarket together just like any other normal couple.
Wang Yan's heart was full and contented at small things like this which he never got experience since young.
He did everything by himself, alone ever since his biological mother left.
He never knew what it felt like to have a companion in his daily life. He never experienced anything like this until Ruo Qin appeared in his life.
Little things makes him the happiest.
