Is the ramen tasty?
As they arrived outside the ramen shop, they saw a massive line. "Don't tell me that's the queue for the shop," Wen Xi said aloud. Rui Xing quickened her pace and saw the entrance of the shop that had the long queue. It was indeed the shop she wanted to try out. "Yes, this is the shop! Can we please wait and queue up? I really want to try it," Rui Xing looked at the 3 with pleading eyes. Shang Ying and Li Nang nodded their heads. Wen Xi looked at their reaction then opened her mouth to say, "OK fine, since we are already here." Rui Xing smiled then ran to the back of the line to start queuing up.
After a wait of approximately 25 minutes, they reached the front of the line! It was their turn to be seated next. The waitress came out and ushered them to their seats. As they walked into the ramen shop, they were in awe by the soft dark red carpet they were walking on, beautifully decorated wall and the brightly lit chandelier. Rui Xing stopped momentarily to take a photograph before following the waitress. "Woah! This place looks high class!" Wen Xi said to herself. They all sat down on the chairs and looked through the menu. The prices of all of the food were really affordable, and the ramen shop looked amazing, which gave people a good first impression of the place.
They placed their orders and waited for their dishes to arrive. Although there was a crowd, their food arrived in no longer than 10 minutes. Since Shio Ramen, Shoyu Ramen, Tonkotsu Ramen were their specialties, they all chose from the 3 speciality options. Shoyu Ramen is soy sauce based, Tonkotsu Ramen is pork-bone based and Shio Ramen is salt based. They all ordered the same drink which was Japanese Tea. Rui Xing chose the Shio Ramen as she loves salty food. For Wen Xi, she ordered Shoyu Ramen which was something she normally wouldn't choose, but she wanted to try something different. Both Shang Ying and Li Nang went with Tonkotsu Ramen.
They took their first bite and were so happy that the food was so tasty! It was the first time they ate their food so slowly. They wanted to enjoy the food when they could because they wouldn't be coming back to Japan anytime soon after that trip. The 4 of them finished their food and all of them had a take-away for another one of the ramens they ate. The take-away came and they walked out of the ramen shop feeling contented. They took a 5-minute walk back to their hotel to have their take-away!
They finished their ramens in 5 minutes! They couldn't help but devour the food in front of them. It was just so tasty that they wanted a third serving!

"Oh, his name is Shang Ying and don't be mistaken that he is my brother. He is my cousin, it's just that we are really close and I take him as my younger brother," Shang Shen replied nonchalantly.
"Oh I see! But, Shang Ying..... this name sounds really familiar. Where did I hear this name before..."
"You've heard of my brother? I mean cousin. Oh was it about the news about him and this girl?"
"Huh? What news? And if it's uncomfortable with you, you can just call him brother."
"OK, thank you. Oh and this article. My brother isn't a type of person that goes around playing with girls so that girl in that picture with him, must be his friend," Shang Shen said while showing Rui Ning the article.
Rui Ning zoomed into that picture to find that the girl in Shang Ying's arms was Rui Xing!
"That's my sister!"
"Woah. This is a small world. He's on a holiday now. They must be friends and are there together."
"I guess... but whose Ning Ning?"
"Oh Ning Ning. That's just my auntie's friend's daughter. My auntie arranged for them to be together in a relationship but Shang Ying declined. They are not on good terms. That's only one of the reasons they aren't on good terms. The other reason is because his parents wish for him to join their company but his dream is to be a doctor. His parents don't approve of him being a doctor although it's a really good occupation."
"Ah I see... Is the reason for his parents disapproval of his occupation because they want him to be the boss of their company when they step down?" Rui Ning thought for a while before saying.
"Yes. You're still as smart as ever," Shang Shen complimented Rui Ning.
"Nah. It's just a practical thought."
"Uh what time is it now?"
"It's almost 9pm. Do you need to head back home now?"
"Yes, sorry about that, I'll make a move first," Shang Shen said apologetically.
"It's alright. Bye," Rui Ning said while holding on to the dogs to make sure they don't run out the door. You could hear the two dogs barking again, not wanting Shang Shen to leave.
"Bye."
A second later, the door was shut and Rui Ning went to lock it.
Rui Ning was bored and decided to play with the dogs for awhile. He took out the treat bag and the dogs began to bark again. Was it a bad idea to bring out the treat bag? I think so. Oh well whatever's done is done right, Rui Ning thought to himself.

10pm in Japan
Rui Xing took a warm shower and went to bed after drying her hair. Shang Ying was on his phone, texting someone. Shang Ying was texting one of his colleagues, which was also his friend, about a patient Shang Ying was in charge of. His friend informed him that the patient was discharged. Shang Ying thanked his friend for looking after that patient when he was gone, then he turned off his phone. He walked to his bed and laid down. Shang Shen noticed Rui Xing was sleeping so he switched off the lights and, he too, went to bed.
