As the Anbu stand there between Orochimaru and their fellow Anbu going back to konoha they felt the disparity in power. they understood why he was considered to be a flee on sight target in the bingo book.

Aside from his gloomy and eery look there was also his macabre intent palpable and permeating the atmosphere as if it daring to chalenge his own presence and momentum.

It was a short moment but in that fleeting timeframe they who stood in his presence where already attacked and wounded not physically but spiritually. the chances of winning or even surviving were going down by the second.

Orochimaru knew this so he released his killing intent to further demoralize his oponents... no not his oponents.. his PREY!.

Orochimaru: 'kukukuku you should run when you had the chance little dogs. Now it's to late for thinking.'

And so he went forward to clash with the Anbu and in the do or die situation they found themselfs their instinct flare up giving them the chance to react to the sudden attack.

A.G.: Doton: Doryū Heki, Katon: Gōkakyū no jutsu, Fūton: Daitopa.

A combined effort managed to make Orochimaru back off for a moment to deal with the jutsus launched his way.

Orochimaru: Kuchiyose Rashomon, kage bunshin.

The counter started and orochimaru easily stoped the attack and send a clone out to chase the Anbu who went to konoha but before it could pass by the others one of the Anbu used a explosive tag and launch it in the way of the clone detonating before it could avoid it dispeling itself and creating some smoke and dust to cover for his teammate.

using the dust cover some Anbu took oportunity to crate some clones and send them back along his teammate to cover the rear and ensure Orichimaru had a hard time chasing.

Orochimaru: 'tch i guess i took it to easy because i didn't see you as a threat but i'll take care of that NOW!.'

Doing hand signs with great speed it released several jutsus combined.

Fūton: Daitopa, Katon: Kasumi Enbu no jutsu, Doton: Doryūdan.

with a few jutsus he managed to separate and injure some of them and the last one managed to kill one and left the rest to deal with the enemy who to their surprise was gone.

A.C.: 'Not good! he went after sparrow we gotta stop him.'

the Anbu run with all their strength to try and stop that madman from killing his teammate and ultimately killing them all. As the Anbu ran on pursuit of Orochimaru they also prepared mentally to finish the mission.. even if the later one claim their lives.

soon sparrow was nearing the proximity of some konoha patrol teams but he decided to change course and avoid collateral deaths of his fellow shinobi because he knew that Orochimaru would not let him go and inform about his whereabouts.

As he goes in his way he felt an instinctive need to dodge and accelerate and that was the rigth call because as soon as he dodge a pale sword flew past where his heart would have been. recognizing the sword as the sannin Kusanagi sword he bolted with his greatest speed an abandon knowing he was closing in.

yet but a few moments later he would hear and feel and explosion going behind him and although it shook him a bit he didn't stop nor he turn around to look at the cause for he new his teammates had carried on with their duty.. even if the later meant their sacrifice.

As Orochimaru was coming closer to Sparrow he used his Kusanagi sword to try and kill the Anbu and be done with it but surprisingly the Anbu dodged and kept going faster than before so he tried to use a jutsu and stop him long enough to finish it.

As soon as he started to do hand signs he was intercepted by the Anbus he left behind thinking they would not be a problem and yet here they are being just that and it grated him that these pest were actualy becoming a obstacle for him HIM THE SNAKE SANNIN.. mad with fury he unlished a fūton jutsu trying to push them away but they just stood their ground and jump to comfront him directly not knowing if it was desperation or stupidity that made them think they could fight him in taijutsu but then again desperate men do things outside of reason.

And it was at that point that he heard it.. the sound of sizzling that explosive tags had and his snake like eyes enlarged for a bit before going somber as he knew the Anbu were going to stop him no matter what.
