Basics are important...

Naruto's personal training ground…

After scolding Kakashi for being useless and not teaching him anything good after all this time Kakashi told him that he will teach him a new jutsu which calmed down Naruto. As Naruto didn't waste his precious time he and Kakashi went to the newly improved training ground behind his new house with expectations.

"What do you want to learn Naruto? " Kakashi asked with a lazy tone while standing lazily and not daring to take out the new copy of "Icha-Icha Paradise" which he had already gotten used to while standing with nothing at hand but after the harsh words he received from Naruto earlier, he lost his courage and confidence to bring out his favorite book's new copy which he really wants to read but he promised himself he will read immediately after he teaches something hard to Naruto and make him busy for quite some time time.

"Hey stop being lazy and concentrate properly on my training or I am warning you I am going to complain to the old man. " Naruto threatened with a frustrated face for not taking his training seriously.

Looking at Naruto who has a frustrated face Kakashi shook his head with a tired sigh then asked "Alright, alright stop complaining and tell me what do you want to learn from me? "

"Hey, why did you give a tired sigh before doing anything? " hearing the way Kakashi talk Naruto felt that Kakashi isn't talking him seriously than with an unhappy tone asked "You see in the academy only I don't know any kind of ninjutsu so I will be glad if you can teach me some. "

"Ninjutsu huh? " Hearing Naruto asking such a simple thing Kakashi nodded his head and started thinking 'How about Chidori? Nah too advanced for him but if I teach him it might take months for him to learn that and at that time he won't disturb me and I will be free. No, if I do that then he won't be able to learn anything good in time. If that is the case how about I teach him some basic jutsu Variations to make a good base for him to learn different natures of jutsu. Hmm, that will be alright I think. '

"Hey what are you thinking so deeply? " Looking at Kakashi who is lost in his thoughts Naruto asked with a confused face as he is not replying to him.

"Alright then how about I teach you the basics of ninjutsu first then when you perfect it then I will move on to the advanced levels?  " Kakashi asked with a smile while thinking 'Nah he will reject and ask me for some advanced jutsu with his nature. '

"I am fine with that. " Naruto replied with a nod thinking 'If I learn the basics I might be able to create my own jutsu in the jutsu in the future. '

"What you want to learn some advanced one but I am... " Kakashi wanted to explain the importance of the basics but midway he felt he heard something unexpected then again asked "Can you repeat that? "

"I said I am fine with the Basics. " Naruto replied with a smile as he is going to learn something new after all this time.

"Are you sure? " Kakashi felt weird that he is not asking about the advanced one but agreeing to learn about the basics from him.

"Yes I am sure now can you teach me something already. " Naruto nodded with expectations.

"Alright let us begin with the very beginning then. " Kashi said as he finally removed his hands from his pockets and started his explanation "For us, shinobi to use ninjutsu hand signs are very important but with the passage of time when we become enough strong and have a good experience we can also skip the hand signs for some normal ninjutsu but even at that time we will need hand signs if we want to bring out the strongest part of a jutsu. You also need to know the jutsu that we perform using hand signs are stronger than the ones with no hand signs. "

This way the training continued and Kakashi showed him a normal fire, earth, lighting, water, wind style jutsu and told him to learn it properly and try to find different ways of using them and if possible use this jutsu in everyday life to complete some small tasks so he has better control of this jutsu.

After teaching Naruto the basics Kakashi found Naruto is putting all his concentration in the training so he decided to go to the side and read his book now that no one is here to disturb him.

As Kakashi is reading his book on a tree branch and also looking at Naruto from time to time, Naruto continued trying his best to learn everything Kakashi just thought him.

"Let me try the earth wall first. " Naruto said as he puts his left hand into tiger then his right hand into an ox and put the ox on top of the tiger then shouted "EARTH STYLE: EARTH WALL. "

Hearing Naruto shouting Kakashi looked at Naruto's direction to find out he has succeeded in making a small earth wall but it isn't enough to help with anything so he shouted after a push "Try to make the wall a little bit taller. "

"I understand. " Naruto nodded and again continued practicing and this time the wall became tall but it is so thin that even wind broke the wall with a push.

"Continue you are doing great. " Kashi shouted from behind to encourage Naruto to continue.

"Yes, I knew." Naruto again continued and after failing he finally made an earth wall that is 1 foot thick and a little bit taller than himself.

"I think it is good enough but try to make the wall again a few more times before you try another style. " After successfully making the earth wall Naruto decided to try another style when he heard Kakashi advising him to practice more.

"Right that way I will have a better understanding of this jutsu. " with a nod Naruto continued his practicing and when he thought it is enough, for now, he changed to another nature type jutsu.

"Tiger+ Serpent+ Tiger" after making hand signs Naruto shouted putting the tiger seal in front of his mouth "WATER STYLE: WATER WALL. "

Hearing his shout Kakashi saw Naruto spitting only a mouthful of water instead of making a waterfall then asked with a low tone "Really!!!"
