David was staring at the IV fluid that was hanging over Dona's head. The liquid in it was dripping one drop per second and David has lost its count. How long was he sitting in the same posture, he didn't remember, but he knew Dona was fast asleep, probably due to the heavy sedation.

David had been blooming in success in his business for the past few months. Even though he did not get any further novel updates from Bella, his company was getting quite stable that there were many authors willing to publish under his company. But seeing Dona in this condition it was not possible for him to leave her. He was afraid the moment he was out of her sight, she would do something stupid or become depressed. So he sat there day and night watching her wake up and sleep again. Even though she was ageing severely day after day, he felt she was still the most beautiful girl he ever saw.
