Finishing his transformation Tian Long twists his massive body so that he comes face to face with Jian, well, as much as he can considering the size difference between them. Still stunned from the fact that he just watched his friend turn into a dragon and a legendary divine dragon at that.
Confused Jian started stammering trying to speak but no words would come out.
"I-I-I... Y-Y-You... Azu-Azure... Dra-Drag-Dragon".
Staring in amusement at his friend stammering because of his transformation he quickly breaks Jian out of his stupor as they didn't have much time on their hands. Tian Long promised Jian that he would explain about himself after they have the flower that can help Sarah. Although Tian Long was now a beast it didn't matter as Jian had already heard that beasts can transform after a certain benchmark of strength however beasts had slowly stopped showing themselves to human society after the last war between races for supremacy.
Climbing onto Tian Long's head as they were going to travel by flying.
"Hold on tight!" Tian Long shouted back to Jian who was now on top of his head.
Listening to Tian Long Jian held on as tight as possible as he didn't want to fall off mid-flight. Setting off for the sky Tian Long sped for the north going above the clouds to avoid being noticed by any powerful humans in the cities as they would love to catch him for his body as it is a treasure itself or they could try and control him with one fo those nasty soul contracts that forces him to become their slave. Tian Long would rather not try his luck therefore choosing the safest possible way, above the clouds.
Soaring above the sky on top of a dragon Jian didn't know how to feel. However after all the excitement he remembered the reason why they were here in the first place and sombered down. After calming down he started to ask some questions to sate the curiosity that was growing in him.
"How do you fly without wings?"
Tian Long answered back that he didn't know either he just could. Tian Long then thought harder about it and then answered that it might be that when he wants to fly that some scales slightly open letting air in and then propulse the air they collected the way he wanted to go. They don't open so far that it becomes noticeable to outsiders but because it is his body doing the work, even if it is unconcious, he knows some of what it does as whenver he actively thinks about flying he 'forgets' how to. It is like how humans can unconciously breathe yet when they actively think about controlling how to breathe they 'forget' to breathe.
Another question Jian asked was one that he thought was the most important, "Are you the Azure Dragon?".
In reply Tian Long answered that he wasn't THE azure dragon but AN azure dragon. His bloodline was infinitely close to his ancestors which is the reason for his appearance which is unlike his other brothers and sisters who were other colours like: white, green, blue etc.
When Jian heard the first part of Tian Long's answer he became disappointed however after hearing the rest he was stunned. Jian was stunned because the divine beasts actually existed and that dragons, who were thought to be extinct, were actually still alive and from the sounds of it the race wasn't anywhere near extinction like they thought.
The next question that he asked was, of course, "Does Sarah know?".
To which Tian Long replied yes and that he is her 'bodyguard' in name and that he actually started following Sarah when they met in a forest because he found an interest in her which slowly turned into love because of their time together. Nodding his head at that as it was widely known in their group that Tian Long loved Sarah which was quite odd for a so called 'bodyguard'.
After asking the questions that he had thought of he went to meditation to calm his mind while he felt the wind breeze past him. To him it felt like a breeze because of his high endurance however it was actually more like a storm as Tian Long was flying at extreme speeds right at the edge if what someone of Jian's strength to handle which was why Jian had stopped talking because he didn't want to waste too much energy and make Tian Long slow down because he can't stand the wind for too long.
Although they were moving at extreme speeds they still were a long way away from their destination. Because Jian, and even Tian Long, had their limits they had to stop every couple of hours for rest before they continued on their journey. Because of Tian Long's size it was more troublesome to find some place to rest which made them waste more time as they had to make sure that the place had no one near them and that the place was habitable and their wasn't any strong beasts that could kill them as although Tian Long is very close to breaking through to Rank 3 which was near the apex of strength on this continent their were still others stronger than him and nevermind humans even beasts would love to bathe in his blood hoping to break past their racial limits as every race, even humans had limits on how much stronger they can become. Beasts relied more on their race than talent to grow in strength whilst humans are different as some humans can have zero talent whilst others could have extreme talent making it extremely easy to gain power.
Cautiously exiting the clouds once again Tian Long checked for any sign of humans and strong beasts before landing so they can rest. This will be the fifth time they have rested and they have only just made it just before halfway to the forbidden zone. Because they are getting closer to a forbidden zone stronger humans and beasts are easier to bump into as forbidden zones are actually just kingdoms set up by certain beast clans. Landing on the ground Tian Long scans once again for any signs of life and heaves a sigh of relief and then lays down for a good sleep whilst Jian just lays down to sleep on top of Tian Long's head, thanks to Tian Long opening up to Jian about his beast form they have gotten closer though not to the point where he would tell him about his clan and what had happened. Tian Long had told Jian a simplified version that didn't include too many details about the divine realm as Jian was to weak to know about that place yet.
