A Holiday Chapter

~This is in the spirit of the holidays. I'm so happy to be doing this and charing my stories with you all. I suppose that I'll start these all off from the beginning to the present. I really hope you enjoy them and happy holidays everyone!~

"Mom!" Kizuato carried a pouty face and pointed at Zury. "She broke my toy. Why am I the one that has to go to my room."

The beautiful Queen Gina giggled at her kids. They were old enough to know better but she was just in such a splendid mood that nothing they could do would change the way she smiled today. "Stop it my beautiful children. Make peace in which ever way you like. I have a date with your father."

The queen left the scene dancing around, humming to a wonderful holiday melody. "What's up with mom?" Petina had never seen her mother so happy before. Well, she was always happy but she was always strict on them. For her to tell them to make peace with each other was something they had never heard before.

"Don't know, must be something special mom and dad did last night. I was going to go to their room last night but they were screaming. So I just left." Zury shrugged her shoulders. "I'll buy you another toy Kizuato, I'll have Helga take me into the city."

After following his mothers mood, Kizuato wasn't all too upset anymore. "It's fine." He was used to being the only boy and being picked on by his two sisters. "Let's play tag."

"Mmmk." Petina stood up on her feet. "One, two, three, not it!"

Kizuato was the last one to say not it, he was a bit bummed out but he was happy to play. They all started running out of the room and through the kitchen into the back yard.

"Hello my beautiful wife." King Jax wrapped his arms behind his wife, Queen Gina's waist. "Don't you look happy." The King kissed his wife's neck feeling her blood boil inside with the simple touch of his lips.

"I have finished all my kingly duties. Let's go spend time with the kids." He left go of his wife's waist and grabbed ahold of her hand.

"Wait! Let's.. Stay a little longer... Without the kids." Queen Gina wanted her husband all to herself, it may have been selfish but so much had changed in him since a couple of days ago and she loved it.

"We have all the time tonight." The King kissed his wife's lips before leading her into the back yard where their children were playing.

"Daddy!!" All three of them ran to their father and jumped on top of him. None of them were particularly heavy so he was able to carry them all at once. King Jax was a strong built man, his defined features were unlike any other. His white/light gray eyes were just like his children's, a trait that's passed down from the Gurrero family.

Queen Gina may have been selfish to have her husband to herself but she couldn't deny that this scene was much more beautiful. The children had grown accustomed to not having their father around and now that he was here, it was a whole new environment.

"I have something for all of you." The King reached for his personal pouch and took out three power rings. One had the Minsho symbol and he handed the ring over to Kizuato. The other had a Mertas symbol and he gave it to Zury. For the last right, he out the eye of the dragon, just like Petina's Fiena symbol.

They each skipped the rings into their fingers and looked down at their magical items. "What does it do daddy?" Petina was always the curious one, he thought.

"It will show you the way when you are lost. I promise you." The King wrapped his arms around all of his children and tackled them down to tickle them. The night was left with wonder and happiness, it was a night to remember.
