It's 3 at the morning when Lianna woke up. She feel like there was something warm in her wrist. She opened her eyes and blinked twice before fully opening them. Her brows knitted when she smelled the familiar scent she hate.
The room is dark but the lights outside the window is enough to make her realize that she's in the hospital. She looked at her surroundings and she felt her heart skip a beat when she saw someone sleeping beside her bed and he was holding her wrist.
Lianna tried to sit and while doing so, she held her head because of the sudden headache. She looked at her surrounding once more before looking at the person sleeping beside her soundly. He was sleeping with his head down and it's dark so she can't see his face.
She slowly slid her hand out of his palm and got out of bed. She walked towards the window and opened it hoping the smell would go away. The morning breeze flew past her face and her hair was flung upward which made her hug herself. The room was placed at the right spot at the 6th floor so the view of the whole city can be seen beautifully.
She breathed the air while brushing her shoulders with her palm. Grey was tired for todays events and he had stayed up until 2am before she woke up. The cold breeze that's quickly hovering at the room abruptly woke him up.
His long eye lashes shook before they slowly opened. He placed his hand in his side but he can't find the one that he wanted to hold. He became alerted and instantly raised his head to look for her when he saw her standing at the window.
She was standing still while hugging herself. The wind was brushing her hair upward her shoulders. The scene in front of him is like a scene from a movie with soft background music. His tensed brows was swiftly relieved and his body relaxed.
He stood up and walked at her back but when he was about to walk closer she turned around and their eyes met. Fear instantly covered Lianna's eyes and she took a step back.
Grey felt his heart was torn apart by her reaction. He clenched his teeth and tried to walk closer to her again but Lianne took another step backwards and she felt that her foot had hit the wall.
Grey stopped and looked at her worriedly. Her back is at the window and she could fall down if she further walk back. His brows knitted by dispair and looked at her in the eyes.
"Do you really hate me that much? Can you please give me one more chance to make it up to you? I promise, I promise this time I will listen to you. Please give me one more chance..."
Lianna's heart was beating fast as he speak and the cold breeze is making her shiver. She hugged herself and rubbed her palm at her shoulders.
Grey noticed it and quickly took the jacket in his bag. When he tried to come close to her she ran to the bed and covered herself with the blanket.
Grey stood in his spot and looked at her. He clenched his fist and walked back to his seat beside her. He put on the jacket and crossed his arms.
He hadn't closed the window because he thought she was being suffocated so he just indured the cold wind and closed his eyes.
Just when Grey was about to sleep Lianna suddenly let out a small sneeze.
Sigh.
It's just like that cold night when she came to our house looking for help. If only I believed her back then.
