Seetha looked startled when he shouted, at the same time she was very confused.
"What do you mean a month? Its only been a few hours." She stuttered "I.....I...What happened was I... I ....went to college... and then..... and then... I .... I ..." Seetha panicked as she was not able to finish her sentence. She didn't know what to say and even if she said something, the possibility of them believing her was very low.
Seetha teared up as she was unable to reveal what had happened. Her eyes were filled with tears as they slowly rolled over her cheeks, her mother and grandmother instantly flew over to her side and coaxed their baby girl.
The grandma shot an icy cold look at her grandsons and scolded them furiously, "You little rascals! How dare you blame her! How dare you! This child, we don't even know where this child has been all these days. When she finally returns you both are being so inhumane! She is still your sister! Did you forget?"
"Oh My dear baby girl! How much we were worried for you! Where were you?" Her mother with tears all over her face, gently patted her head and hugged her tight.
She dissolved into her mother's warm embrace and burrowed her head into her chest and wept like a baby trying to explain what had happened.
She could not shake off this weird feeling that her father and grandfather were no longer in this world, seeing the appearance of the ladies was enough to prove.
Seetha was still not able to explain everything clearly, wailed hard like her heart had been cut open while being awake, like a knife twisting her heart so hard...."Arg.....Arg...AH.... Mom where is dad.....and grandpa? What happened to them? Where are they?" She forced herself to ask this question, with tears all over her face, her eyes were red from crying so hard.
"They.... They..... They both met with an accident and... and.... passed away on the spot... We are not even able to find their bodies.... from the scale of the accident the chances of their survival.... is very low..." Her mom stuttered as she spoke and instantly broke into tears.
Seetha knew this was coming, but she was still not able to handle it. The news was just too hard for her to digest. She left her mom's embrace and fell down to the floor as her knees gave away.
She was so shocked with that news. After all it was just too sudden. According to her, she had only left the house a few hours back! But now..... but now her dad and grandpa died in an accident? She could not face the truth anymore. Seetha was devastated.
She couldn't find the strength to even cry. It felt like the sky had fallen down, like the thunder struck her, like her world had collapsed and shattered into tiny pieces. She could not express the intensity of sorrow she felt. She sat there. She just sat there without moving a muscle.
