It was just a month that Arnav had ended the relationship and here Khushi's condition was deteriorating. Both emotionally and physically she had become weak.No one had even a pinch of an idea that she was facing such a huge heartbreak.
Her mother had observed those changes but Khushi had made her understand that was it just her studies and projects pressure and nothing else. She couldn't even share it with Aman. She very well knew that just one look and her Aman bhai will know that she is hiding something. So she kept herself away from him.
In this one month, the only place where one could find her was her college library. She would start early in the morning and return late in the name of projects.
She really didn't know how to cope with it. Be it any place she had his memories to relate. She was getting into depression. Her focus was nowhere. She would cry sitting alone. She missed him like hell. It was so hard for her to accept that he had left her alone. Her love who had made such big promises suddenly went away. Was those concern fake? Didn't he really cared about her. Can someone fake love to this level? Had she done something wrong? As much as she knew Arnav he was not that kind of guy who would throw a girl away so easily from his life. There has to be something major for which he took this decision. She didn't know the exact reason but she always felt there was a part which was missing. The only person who could tell the truth was him. But would they meet over again?
She was going home driving a scooty and then she saw a park. That park where they had come after their confession. How she had demanded an Ice Cream and he had bought one for her and had licked the little ice cream from the corner of her lips.
She was still thinking and suddenly a car came in fast speed. Before Khushi could do something the car hit her scooty and she fell down getting unconscious. Blood was oozing out of her head.
Arnav whispered her before losing her consciousness.
She didn't know who brought her into the hospital. She had opened her eyes after three days of the accident. Aakash, Garima, Shashi and Aman were standing in front of her. But she couldn't recognise any of them. After some test doctor informed them that Khushi had suffered a temporary memory loss due to her injury in the head. But something Khushi still remembers was his name, those memories. Even after the accident he wasn't out of her memory. Maybe because he wasn't residing in her mind but in her heart, her soul.
Some more days passed slowly Khushi was able to remember things back. She decided to hide the fact about Arnav. After some more tests, Doctor revealed that she might have lost her memory related to the last few years which she might regain if she saw those people again and regularly.
She was discharged from the hospital and brought home. She had become quiet. Neither her parents, Aman nor Akash intruded much they thought that it was because of the memory loss and illness that she was acting so.
Slowly and gradually time passed. With time Khushi had transformed herself as much as she could she had a soft heart but she always acted rude with people so that no one comes near her. She didn't take much interest in making friends. Laughing was a far apart thing it was only a few times she would smile. She would speak only when required. She had become very much secretive.
She had also accepted that he was out of her life. So she would neither cry nor get depressed thinking of him. Although she didn't hate him Love, marriage, relationships was something she had kept herself away from. She wouldn't hesitate to help people be it her colleagues or someone else.
Finally, it was the last year of her college. She had completed her projects. She had also cleared her pre-rounds before interview. It was going to be a big day for her. One of the best companies in Delhi 'Vendito' was here to recruit today. She was selected for the interview round.
The interview went well. She was waiting for the selection result list. She was swapping tv channels and then she switched on a news channel.
"The young man grabs his first award for the businessman of the year " Arnav Singh Raizada was standing holding a trophy in his hand. It was almost after 3 years she saw him. She was happy not just to see him but to see him this successful. She felt really content. A smile adorned her face instantly. Tears of happiness were flowing through her eyes. Finally, Arnav had started to fulfil his dreams. Congratulations Love is all what she whispered to herself. Oh! how at this moment she wished to see him in real and hug him tightly. Well, she just made a silent prayer to God so as to help him to grow more happy, healthy and successful.
How weird it sounds isn't it? The only reason for which he had left her his career she still was happy watching him achieving it. Maybe that is the beauty of love we always want to see our loved ones happy doesn't matter if what it all brings for us is pain.
She wipes her tears of happiness. She wanted to celebrate his success. She went into the kitchen to see if there were some sweets available and then her phone rang with another good news which stated that she had got the job in her desired company.
Now she would celebrate for both of the good news. Though one would be hidden.
All were happy to know that she had got the job. A small party was kept at home.
