The World Falling Apart

"I'll kill you all if you so much as lay a finger on her!!!"

Color drained from Lu Xiu's face when he heard what the man said. Killing intent filled Lu Xiu's eyes and he shouted at the top of his voice. After his father passed away, his mother had to take care of him and Lu Chen all by herself and also had to suffer a lot due to the bandits ... Lu Xiu could feel like daggers stabbing his heart when he saw his old mother coming back one day after getting beaten up by them and smile at him as if there was nothing to worry about.

As soon as Lu Xiu could finished speaking, the short man moved and headed straight for his home. look at this Lu Xiu and Lu Chen both quickly ran after him so that they could stop him. but alas, a normal human against a cultivator was like an infant facing against a grown man. just as they entered thir home they saw a sword quickly stab through her heart. Lu Xiu could see a look of sorrow and pain In his mother's eyes. Lu Xiu and Lu Chen's complexion paled completely when they saw this and Lu Xiu shouted..

"NOOO, MOM!!! You bastard, I'll kill you!!!

Out of rage Lu Xiu rushed towards his mother's killer but before he could strike him, a huge force slammed into his chest and he flew out the door spraying a mouth full of blood. Lu Chen rushed to Lu Xiu, pale faced and tears flowing down his cheeks as he felt everything was over, after all he was only a 12 years old child.

"hahaha, you still haven't learnt your lesson eh ... Maybe Killing this person will make you learn."

After kicking Lu Xiu in the chest the Short man sneered and rushed out to kill Lu Chen. Lu Chen was already feeling very lost and confused so he didn't know that death was right behind him.

Lu Xiu, after falling immediately yelled in a hoarse voice at Lu Chen.

" Chen, run away you idiot!"

hearing Lu Xiu's words he instinctively looked back just to see a cold glint flashing by his eyes and before he could realise what had happened, he felt something cold pierce his chest followed my immense pain and his vision turning blurry. Lu Chen stood in shock as he could hear faint voices, but he couldn't move his body. his vision was turning blurry and darkness was descending.

"Lu.. Lu Xiu..."

As Lu Chen said those words, he passed on into eternal darkness...

"NOOOO!!!!"

Lu Xiu cried with rage filled eyes. he couldn't take it anymore and in that brief moment when the bandit was enjoying killing Lu Chen, Lu Xiu picked up a nearby rock, ignored the pain he felt in his chest and rushed towards the short man and fiercely struck his head.

The rock hit the bandit due to his carelessness and made him bleed, in a fit of rage he fiercely slammed the hilt of his blade into Lu Xiu's head making the latter bleed and roll on the ground a dozen times before stopping ...

This all happened in a a time for a couple of breaths ... by this time other people have arrived and just saw Lu Xiu rolling on the ground harshly. Tears flowed down Lu Yi's jade white cheeks when she saw Lu Chen laying on the ground in a pool of blood and Lu Xiu covered in wounds.

She could never have expected a day like this to arrive... Lu Xiu looked up and saw the crying, pained look on Lu Yi and he felt bitter in his heart.

"looks like I couldn't protect anyone. I'm too weak.. If only... If only I were stronger."

Lu Xiu thought to himself as he knew that he was going to be killed in a moment not far from now. Alas, in a world of power, those without it have no right to anything and can only be bullied by others. At this thought Lu Xiu's vision turned blurry as he saw Lu Yi being taken away by the burly man while she bawled. He could hear her calling his name over and over but he couldn't do anything about it. Darkness too over him as he soon passed out due to blood loss.

"Humph, you damn thing, do you think you can escape me, I'm gonna torture you till I'm satisfied."

The short man said, pissed that he was bleeding because of this lowly person. It was natural for those with power to be arrogant and full of themselves.

"Forget it, this happened due to your carelessness and you made me lose face. If this happens again then ... you know what will happen."

Grunted the burly man with Lu Yi trapped in his hands. Hearing his leader speak the short man froze in place and muttered under his breath...

"Lucky bastard just you wait till the next time.. I'll kill you."

with that said, the bandits left the tribe with all their resources in tow and the tribes man standing in their places not knowing what to do now.

Lu Xiu woke up after 2 days covered in bandages. He was in that familiar room where he lived everyday ... only, it felt a little dead being here now, when he woke up he would always see his brother lying upside down on the bed and rustling sounds coming from outside his room where his mother would be working. Lu Yi would always come by his house and bang his door to wake him up while shouting his name. Now there was nothing but silence....

Tears slowly started streaming down his cheeks when he thought about how his world, how quicklt it all fell apart..
