Finding The Bandits

"Xiu, where are you ..."

In a room, deep inside a mountain, a soft and weak voice filled with longing resounded...

Lu Yi did not know how long has it been since she was captured. She was in a bad condition, she was covered in dirt and appeared very weak, like someone who hadn't eaten for days. Was He still alive and coming to save her? Lu Yi did not know the answer to that question. She could only silently endure the torment of the bandits.

Lu Xiu had already started to test the limits of his current strength. It was a miracle that when Long Di passed it's power to him, his cultivation directly jumped to last stage of the stone realm. The pain he was experiencing was actually his pathways being forcefully opened by Long Di. Normally one will slowly and carefully open them, doing it forcefully would be very dangerous but who was Long Di? The Dragon Emperor!! ... Living for more than 10,000 years, it was sure to have a couple of tricks up his sleeve...

Since Lu Xiu wasn't a natural cultivator, he only had superficial knowledge about cultivation. So using the information he had gathered, he knew that to cultivate, one had to revolve the heaven and earth Qi fused into their body. There are some methods to do that but Lu Xiu did not know so much. He first tried to sense the Qi in his own body but was surprised to find out that the Qi that was in him was revolving on its own? another surprising thing was his Qi was golden in colour. Qi was supposed to be white in colour normally... but was Lu Xiu normal?

He couldn't help but remember Lu Yi at this point...

"Hey! come over here and sit with this miss. You're always working, it's boring..."

"It's sad that you can't cultivate but it's a good thing.. do you know why? ... you would be a match for this miss. if you try something this miss will pound you to paste..."

"Xiu, It's a pity that Qi couldn't be transfered, otherwise I would give all of mine to you.. Then You'd see that how beautiful this energy is.. when it flows it's like a silky jade light that's flowing through your entire body. The feeling you get Is just incredible... You know what? .. I don't think you won't be cultivator. This miss has faith. You'll see it with your own eyes ..."

Upon recalling, a sad smile appeared on Lu Xiu's face...

"Yi'er, I swear I'll find you even If I have to go through the depths of hell."

After saying this, Lu Xiu's eyes were filled with determination...

Lu Xiu tried his best to get used to his new found power and practiced on a large tree In the forest. Muffled sounds resounded when ever Lu Xiu's fist landed on the tree...

After 3 hours, Lu Xiu finally stopped. He was surprised to find out that he wasn't feeling tired one bit, in fact he felt even more energised after punching for so long. Lu Xiu stared at his fist, there was not a single mark on his fist even after punching for 3 hours stright!

"Maybe it's because the constant revolving Qi in my body..."

Infact that was one of the reasons for Lu Xiu's weird physique. When a person revolves around the Qi in their body, the body quickly starts to recover. Hence, Lu Xiu didn't get hurt even after going on for 3 hours straight.

After a day of assessing his new powers, Lu Xiu decided to go and look for the bandits... The only problem being ... He didn't know where he was. After exiting the mountain, Lu Xiu was completely unfamiliar with where he was. He decided to check the surrounding of the mountain so that maybe he could find a clue about his whereabouts.

As Lu Xiu followed the river that he fell in upstream, he found that the river was split into two paths that were leading in different locations.

"Which one was I in?..."

He could not recall in which stream he fell so he made a random guess and went towards the stream that was going left.

"I definitely chose the incorrect one"

After travelling for about 1 hour, Lu Xiu still didn't see any crumbled mountain and came to the conclusion that he was on the wrong path... Just as he was turning around to go back, he heard some shouts from far away.

.....

"Give us everything that you have and maybe we'll let them off with their life..."

"ok... okay ... ple... please don't hurt my family. Take everything but please don't hurt my family..."

"hahaha, that's the spirit. take everything and let's be on our way."

When Lu Xiu got near to where the shouts originated from, he hid behind some nearby bushes and was surprised to discover the same bandits he was in search of! ... What luck ... They were four bandits that were looting some travellers. There were three people who were tied up by the bandits, an elderly man and a woman and there was also a young lady who seemed to be 16 years of age.

Lu Xiu's main objective was to follow the bandits, locate their hideout and save Lu Yi, so he decided to remain hidden.

"That's the last of it. Boss let's go."

One of the bandits who seemed in his mid 20's spoke to the person who was standing leisurely, he appeared to be in his early 30's and had a fine build.

"Oh ... okay let's head out ... hmmm ... bring the girl with us."

With that said, he started to walk towards a certain direction.

"NOOO!!!"

"Mom, dad please help .... "

Pa~

"it'll be so annoying if I carry you while you keep crying ... I hate crying babies... hahaha."

The lady was knocked out by one of the bandits who had a wicked smirk on his face.

Lu Xiu clenched his fists but he knew that he couldn't act right now, if he did he would lose this good opportunity to track down their hide out...

The elderly man and women were shouting and crying as they saw their daughter being taken away by the bandits. What could people without cultivation possibly do.
