chu feng , a high school  student who is so obsessed with cultivation novels that he wants to drop and start cultivating to become immortal got killed when he tried to save a girl from thugs, but to his surprise, he found that he was reincarnated into an immortal continent. 
taking it as a second chance he promised to become an Existence that looks down on gods and demons [ this is my first novel so forgive me if there was any mistake].

Lightning immortal

after chu Feng closed his eyes he waited for the worst, nothing happened so he opened his eyes only to find an old man sitting on a cloud while looking at him.


" what is the cultivation technique you learned ? " asked the old man.


chu Feng opened his eyes widely when he heard the question. 


'could it be the fortuitous event that will make my path to immortality a piece of cake ?!' thought Chu Feng, then I chu Feng shall grab this opportunity. clearing his throat and  said 


"I chu Feng humbly greet this immortal master,


my technique  is called heaven  devouring  lightning technique, when I achieved the state of clear mind and heart, I heard a bang in my head  and passed out, then I woke up on this platform " 


"...." the old man didn't say anything,  he just looked to the sky and said "heaven, I hate you  ".


" since the water was spelt there isn't anything to do about it, " said the old man sadly, 


" heaven  devouring  lightning technique is the technique that I created, it's my masterpiece, the technique you tried to learn was a decoy , I used a special method to put  a part of my soul  into  the decoy, to choose a successor , then I will teach him the full technique and guide him through his cultivation path ,but who thought that you will get this technique   " said the old man .


chu Feng stayed silent for few seconds without any change in his face  while thinking 'fuck yeah', then asked " immortal elder, may I ask about the reason for doing all this ? is it revenge "


"no, I was bored " answered the old man lazily 


not knowing what to say, he asked  "senior, this technique will you teach it to  me ?"


"sadly I am forced to teach you, my soul is fading and I don't want this technique to disappear " the old man said this.


"I will give you the technique now so relax your body " while talking the old man raised his hand and tapped his index finger between the eyebrows of chu Feng.


chu Feng mind becomes blank for few seconds before words started to appear, Chu Feng felt those words is being engraved into his mind.


when chu Feng become awake from this state, he found that he was inside his room, he was stunned, looking from the window he found that the sky was still dark.


chu Feng was in a daze, only to remember what the old man saying to him right before entering this state 


"when you returned, start to cultivate the new method, because I left some  Qi in your body that will help you in your cultivation".


excited chu Feng read the new method and Sat down in crossed legs, closed his eyes and cleared his mind. 


when he started cultivation he felt a bang in his body, the Qi that was left behind was like a raging ocean.


chu Feng started to use in refining his skin, Chu Feng face Suddenly becomes pale, his body trembling.  


"the Qi is too strong, I can barely control it  " chu Feng was scared but he preserved even when his skin was screaming in pain.


"I want to become immortal, if this pain is needed then, then I shall embrace the masochism "


after long hours  of severe pain, Chu Feng opened his eyes with a smile on his face 


"I achieved it, the refinement of my skin".
