Unexpected Move By The Family

Tao Xue walked in the front gates of his house, and directly went to his home, avoiding any extra attention from anyone. He would be happy if the news of his ability would remain only inside his household, but he was too naive to expect that, as there couldn't be secrets like that kept for too long. For the time being, though, he wanted to keep the news restricted too the least possible amount of people. He hadn't any ideas of mentioning the ability to more than five people, his parents, his grandparents, and the Patriarch. It was obvious for him to tell the thing to his direct relatives, and as the overall head of the whole family, the Patriarch also had a certain right to know about this.

He entered his house, and called everyone to meet him in the living room. It was a bit weird, as he was the one who was calling for a house meeting, which was a weird thing, indeed. He was a very laid back person, and the attitude he had was to rather seclude himself, not to talk about others about things. House meetings were always serious, and to Tao Xue, not most things are serious, and the things that matter to him are mostly things that don't concern the lives of most normal people. He himself felt weird that he was going to tell his parents and grandparents that he can manipulate the energy of the Heaven and Earth. It was pretty much the shock they would get after they heard this news. He couldn't help smiling when he imagined the awestruck expressions on his parents' and grandparents' faces. He was a little nervous, but when everyone came to the living room, they had joyful, and both suspicious and also a bit startled expressions. It was as if they had been trying to hide something, and were putting up a show. With Tao Xue's attitude, he didn't really care about such minor issues, and didn't really care about what his family members were up to, as he knew they were by no means ordinary, and must be doing something stupid.

He cleared his throat, as he said, "Well, I want to tell you people something, and that is going to shock you people a lot, so please don't tell it to others, as it is a big piece o information. I don't think you will believe me, so I will also demonstrate it for you."

Normally, if Tao Xue said something like this, all of them would jump out of their seats, and try convincing themselves that this was a dream. To them, there existed nothing as a 'serious' Tao Xue. They just knew that he didn't have that kind of an attitude. Being serious was not a part of his personality, so it would pretty obviously seem rather odd. This time, however, they all refrained from all such expressions, as they still sat in that same expression. They were making the scene feel awkward, as Tao Xue himself, was out of character, and so were all of his family's members. They all were acting somewhat way different compared to what they usually were like. The expressions on his parents' and grandparents' faces shook Tao Xue up, as he started to realize that something here was really fishy. For Tao Xue to see his family in such a state, he had started suspecting something. It was weird that they were trying to hide something. He knew that his parents and grandparents wouldn't be so calm when they hear Tao Xue talking like that. It was pretty much unbelievable that they calmly sat down. Their expression wasn't that simple, either, because they were a bit tense, and they looked like something had happened to them.

Tao Xue was a bit surprised, but since his suspicions didn't lead to anywhere, he had to forget them, and start off with the story. It could also be like they all didn't believe that he actually had anything to say, as he had never been serious before, and they thought of it as a joke.

He was about to start speaking, when his mom asked, "By the way, why were you so late from school? Did you go out to hang out with your friends, or something, or were you punished? Did something happen at school?"

His mom's words were rather normal, which made his suspicion drop significantly, but he still hadn't completely wore it off. While the words were comforting, the expression was still the same. She said the words as if she were a character in some play, who had stage fright, and couldn't help but getting nervous.

Tao Xue continued, "That is also included in what I'm going to say, so please pay attention, and don't think I'm joking, because I'm serious, here."

Well, after that, Tao Xue explained everything to his parents, and by everything, he meant everything. He explained that he had found out about this ability yesterday night, and had polished it all over. He explained the incident with the Principal at the school today, and also explained how he had now got to know that he wasn't any average person, but he was actually someone with unimaginable talent. He had explained everything with such precision, that they all didn't even believe what he was saying was something they hadn't experienced in front of themselves, with their own eyes. Tao Xue explained it to them as they were at every scene, themselves. After telling everything, his dad decided to speak up.

His dad said, "Well, now that you've explained every detail closely, that's why we've understood what you said with extreme precision, but, I have something to tell you, and don't get shocked after that. Well, since someone with such talent like this had appeared in the 4 Seasons Academy, the family would obviously be informed. We were told about everything by the Principal himself. He had sent us a massage, and it has already been conveyed to the Patriarch as well. We were acting as if we knew nothing, but that wasn't the truth, as we knew about your special skill."

Well, firstly, Tao Xue was stunned speechless, and then secondly, he had started to seriously freak out. He was not the kind of person who would start speaking about, and explaining in detail about his abilities, and that to his family. He had also given a proper demonstration, and all this was so that he could make them understand his ability. It still benefited, as they ended up getting a better understanding of the topic, but it also backfired. He had to go through all this for absolutely nothing, as they had already had the knowledge of this ability with them, from the beginning of the day.

He sighed inside his mind, as he thought, "I shouldn't have even told them about this! Firstly, it was a total waste of time for me, out there, and other than that, my mouth is paining! That seriously wasn't a good prank!"
