Rewards

The first battle was rather tough for Tao Xue, as he was completely exhausted after he battle. He was excited at the beginning, but now the excitement was slowly fading away, but when he thought of the reward, all the excitement came back to him.

He couldn't help getting excited at the thought of getting a reward. He thought that his master was bluffing, but when he heard that voice for a second time, he was sure that that wasn't the case.

The voice this time said, "Tao Xue is the winner. Come to the raised platform to collect your reward."

The voice was as emotionless and still as ever, but for Tao Xue, it was the greatest news possible.

Tao Xue's mind was filled with joy and excitement, as he rushed towards the raised platform, which was to the side of the grand arena, on which he was fighting.

He walked up to the platform, and stood there, waiting for the reward. Suddenly, a white colored crystal, roughly the size of a fist of an adult man, appeared in Tao Xue's hand. The crystal was sparkling brightly, and emitted a dazzling light, illuminating the area around him.

The voice spoke again, as it said, "This is a Cultivation level 1 Energy Crystal, or level 1 crystal, in short. This is a crystal, filled to the brim with the energy of the Heaven and Earth. This crystal is divided into various levels, and this is level 1."

Just after the explanation of the crystal was finished, Tao Xue was again empty handed, as the crystal had vanished. Just as the crystal had vanished, another item had appeared in Tao Xue's hands.

This item was a scroll, which was as long as half of Tao Xue's arm.

The scroll was light, but it gave off a powerful aura.

The voice spoke again, as it said, "This is a level 1 scroll. Scrolls are various items that are made using the energy of the Heaven and Earth, by the Soul Cultivators. This is a scroll of unlimited use, and it provides a small circle, inside which all of the members are healed for a little time, made using the Art of Rejuvenation."

The two of these rewards were very good, and they actually motivated Tao Xue to keep on fighting. He didn't expect such great rewards from the first battle itself. He wasn't sure if he should first Cultivate, after getting out of here, or fight. As for getting out, he suddenly remembered that he didn't know how to do that. His master had got him inside, but he still hadn't told him how to go in or out without his help.

He found his master, who told him that he wouldn't let him get out of here until he completed the third fight. When Tao Xue heard this, he was sure that a lot of his time would be used up, and he would be finished by late in the night, ruining his sleep schedule, and daily routine.

As he was perplexed, thinking about this, his master told him that time doesn't pass here, and when he gets out, it will be the exactly same time that he left in his own original world, which surprised him. It was still a little difficult for Tao Xue to fight till the third battle, easily, but he had to do it, or else he wouldn't be getting out of here for his whole lifetime.

He had thought of resting a little while before he took the chance with the second battle, and later the third. He sat down, and rested himself, and warmed himself up with practicing his ability a little bit. Finally, he was ready. He was ready for the second battle to commence.

As he had previously seen, his opponent in the first match was a human, and that was one of the things he was happy about, because nobody wanted to fight to the death with some inter dimensional freaks.

He still wasn't sure if his opponents would only be humans, or could they also be other species. He wanted it to be the first option, but he decided that it wouldn't be good for him to take his chances in this one, as if it was the second one, and he wasn't prepared (mentally prepared, that is, to face all kinds of weird creatures) for that, there could be some serious counter affects with him, and that was something he didn't want.

He looked up towards the place where his master was hovering, and he asked, "Master, is it going to be only humans battling me, or other creatures, too."

He was looking at his master anxiously, as he heard a reply from him, "Well, for now, you'll only be facing humans."

He was expecting such an answer, as it wasn't something that was completely in the negative, and it also wasn't something completely in the positive. In the long term, it was bad news for him, but currently, it was something that he could rejoice after hearing.

As he got even more excited from all this excitement, he was now ready to take on the opponent, and he directed his focus on the arena for a second time, as he readied himself, his heart wildly beating at a rate that caused both excitement and fear, as he couldn't help thinking about what was going to happen.

Suddenly, the voice again spoke, in a loud voice, as it said, "Opponent number 2 is approaching. Get ready."

Just as the voice clearly sounded in the whole arena, a youth, with dark purple hair, pulled and remained all the way back, with blue eyes, and a pair of red clothes, both for his top and bottom, with a dark yellow colored sleeveless coat above it, and two red robes, across each side of the shoulder on top of the coat again.

Tao Xue was excited, as he saw this youth, as he thought, "He sure looks cool! He'll be a good match, according to me!"
