The Beginning of a Break

After every stressful day Monica used to think of how she would enjoy her holidays at some corner of this planet Earth where no one could find her. She reaches home and takes a deep sleep dreaming of her holidays.

One fine sunday evening when she was sitting at home she got a call on her cell phone. The number seemed to be an unknown number and Monica had no idea of who it is.

She received the call and heard a male voice on the other side of the call who spoke to her in a very professional manner.

"Hi, is this Monica?

"Yes, this is her.", said Monica with a very confused voice.

"Monica, this is Prakash from the zonal office of Computer Accountants Institute and there is an urgent meeting set up for all the franchisors tomorrow and we request you to be present for the meeting in Mumbai"

"Ok", said Monica still confused of what she heard just now.

"So can we take that Ok as a yes from you to attend the meeting?", asked Prakash sounding unsure of the reply.

She thought for a second or two and then gave a positive yes as a reply.

After disconnecting the call, Monica had a big smile on her face and started imagining of a holiday in the city of dreams, Mumbai. She thought that the meeting would be just of a day and can enjoy for two days there and then return the fourth day back to the city of stress and hard-work. But these two days would be completely hers.

Monica called Sachin over the phone and informed him about the meeting. Sachin had an instant semi-circle on his face which indicated the devil's smile, but that didn't last for long as there was a condition kept by Monica. The condition was such that every employee has to reach office and has to call her from the office phone number which will be marked as the attendance for the day.

After the talk with Sachin she dressed up and got her suit case overflowing with her clothes. She had already informed her parents about the meeting and the holiday she had planned for herself.

She reached the railway station 1 hour before the train arrival time and started to talk to the T.T.E for her seating arrangements. Finally after a lot argument and some bribe she won the toss and got a seat confirmed for herself.
