'Ah damn, for how long have I been falling for now? It must have been years...' Ca'en had been falling for an eternity now to the point that even his grew a meter past his feet but his body hadn't aged 1 bit.

The energy inside the Great Divide was mysterious, it felt like creation and destruction existed at the same time. It was like there was chaos in creation yet creation in chaos. This place felt secluded eternally dark yet connected to myriads of worlds. It was vast and never ending with twinkling as if he was out in the vast universe and he couldn't make out left from right or up from down.

It was like he was aimlessly floating about yet falling at extreme speed.

He would try to move to the twinkling lights but the lights would seem so far away the more he reached for them.

'Screw this shit... It's at least better than getting thrown into that place' he would feel shivers running down his spine whenever he thought of that abyss he almost fell into.

'Welp, it is what it is' Ca'en closed his eyes and accepted it all. There was no need to waste his already limited brain cells on what he couldn't fix so after years of deliberation, that's the answer he came to.

'Why did I even want to go back? I have no one to go back to and I'd just suffer unnecessarily trying to become something I'm not... Heeeeeiiiggghhh, I'd just laze around and chill without all that unnecessary work if I ever go back.... But I'm good being here too, I like the silence and solitude of this place' he had started feeling comfortable and at home after accepting his fate and letting go of all his bitterness and desires, heck there was even a major part of him that didn't want to leave this place and that's when it happened.

His body suddenly came to a stop and just when he was wondering what happened all of those infinitely twinkling lights jerked and ran straight into him.

Some of them were had humanoid shapes, some had wings, some had dragonic bodies while some looked like plants. There were a myriad of shapes inside the twinkles but they all had 1 thing in common: they had no face, were brimming with might even greater than those that threw him in here and they were all rushing to him.

The first hit him in the face and he found himself in a vast world with fire raging everywhere. The fire was the very air, earth and water. It was everything in this world and it was destruction that wouldn't hesitate to turn to ash whoever came it's way.

Just standing here made him feel as if someone threw him into a furnace, the heat was unbearable and his skin was was constantly breaking down and reassembling, his throat dry and burning.

'Oh God! Water! What is this place?' Ca'en struggled to stand when a voice boomed

"What is it you see in front of you?" the voice boomed from everywhere. It contained the very essence of what fire is.

Ca'en looked around in panic, he knew instinctively that he wasn't even worthy of trying to fight back against whatever that voice belonged to.

'shit! Da fudge is going on?!' he kept on looking around trying to find the ways to escape but it was a futile effort, he somehow knew that that thing encompassed this entire world and just to prove him right, it appeared.

The fire in the entire world rumbled and gathered to form a gigantic being whose size was so big that it's claw alone covered the Americas and the pressure coming off of it was enough to burn the void itself. He couldn't see its entirety yet he somehow knew what it was.

A dragon.

The one's said in legends to be masters of magic and this 1 made entirely of pure fire.

"Speak. What do you see?" the voice was filled with authority leaving no room for discussion causing Ca'en to freeze up.

He took a long breath before forcefully calming himself yet he still remained terrified of answering, one wrong move and he might die.

He looked around before answering "I see power and destruction that nothing can stand against" his voice shaking.

Fuuum the dragon gave a short snort causing the void to tremble.

'Shit wrong answer!' he started panicking. Just a snort released so much power! His brain started tinkering

"Disa-"

"Wait! Mister dragon sir! I also see something else!" Ca'en cut in before the dragon finished his line. There was no way any sane person would let it finish that line with the dissapointed and angry voice it said it with.

The dragon boomed "Speak" causing the void to incinerate instantly leaving a gaping black hole in it. This done caused Ca'en to almost shit his pants. 'This shits too much for me to bear man, too much!' it felt like his little heart would jump out and abandon him.

'Think!' he forced himself. 'What else is there?' cold sweat dripping in this furnace like place when it hit him!

"Life! I see life!" he confidently shouted before shrinking back when he noticed the dragons silence.

It observed him for a while before finally asking,

"Why do you say so?"

'Yaaaaasssss! It worked! Play it cool, don't mess this up!" he rejoiced and chided himself at the same time.

"The colours, I saw different kinds of colors in the fire and it looks beautiful and that kinda reminds me of life" he answered lowering his head. He thought of this answer after remembering that he felt some of that mysterious creation energy from the Great Divide in the flames here so he decided to take a chance.

The dragon was silent before a booming laughter resounded through out almost causing Ca'ens ear drums to burst. 'Did I screw up?' he kept his head down.

"Good! Good! You are worthy!" it's giant claw lifted up and struck his head at an unbelievable speed. Fire started going into him through the claw as the the dragon began to rapidly shrink and finally disappeared into him.

His body was so hot that even the most heat resistant metal would melt upon touch, his very being was like an inferno yet it did not harm even a single hair on him. his silvery skin turned bronze coloured like a highly heated metal and He instinctively knew everything there was about fire.

He was lord over it.

The fire made it's way to the depth of his being, shrunk and settled forming a whirlpool that continuously sucked energy in and refined itself

"Awesome!" he was relishing in this feeling when it abruptly turned black.

He was surrounded by a menacing yet empty darkness and could feel something horrible staring right at him. Even the fire he was giving off was swallowed whole by this darkness. It was as though nothing in existence could escape from it, it was drawing out all of his buried bitterness and hatred making him remember everything he thought he was over and when it drew everything out, the darkness rushed into him. It brought everything we could consider evil yet it itself was without malice or emotion and settled beneath the fire whirlpool leaving Ca'en to deal with the sudden horrible feeling of death, anger, despair, terror, lust, envy, jealousy and greed.

The previously vanished demonic runes pulsed and surfaced, it sucked in all the remnant dark energy and darkened, fighting off the the holy runic symbols sealing it.

'What is this?! I don't want this!' all kinds of vile feelings were running amok when he was suddenly surrounded by a soothing holy light. This light fought off all his previous vile thoughts.

"Hoho, so you have an affinity for 2 forces that can never compromise? Abnormal who will most likely be hunted by all" the voice was overwhelming holy and the brilliant light it gave of was pleasant to the eyes. He couldn't make out what the being shrouded in light was but he didn't feel threatened by it.

It also entered him with all it's holiness forming the 3rd whirlpool underneath the black 1 and immediately the seal on the demonic DNA strengthened giving his black pair of wings a grey metallic luster at the same time, the angelic DNA became more firm and he was kicked into the Great Divide again where things had returned to it's usual calmness.

'Wow...' That was all he could think of, the things that happened were just too much for his head to get around but he knew 2 things : he just became a badass and 2nd, he knew how to get out of this place.

It was through those dangerous vortices that would randomly appear, the ones his entire being was praying to not come close to by instinct.

He stretched his hands out and demonic and holy energies materialized and immediately started fighting in the void like to starved wolf's trying to devour each other and caused a vortex to appear.

When he gained the energies he also gained their knowledge, The Great Divide is situated between heaven and hell as such their energy seeped into this place and the vortices that occurred here were the the opposite ends fighting. All kinds of unique energies existed in this place.

The reason why no one is able to return from the this place is because they'd have to go through the vortices to escape and no one can survive in a clash between the 2 holy energies but that rule didn't apply to one that was similar to them. Someone who understands both energies.

He stood in front of the vortex before turning around to look and his heart was suddenly filled with sadness. 'I can't believe I'm leaving this place...' he had been in this peaceful place for lord knows how long and he had to leave it all off the sudden.

'Welp, good things come to an end' he steeled his heart and walked through the vortex, the vortex didn't harm him matter of fact it felt like they were calming as he walked through and slowly the energy started swimming to their respective whirlpools.
