The Price of Delinquency

"Being my biggest critic when it comes to a job well done, I will be stringent with collections."

Taf spoke with righteousness as a diligent worker doing his good.

The Violet Sun and Eternal Death Gang members looked at the youth in shock and were angered by his words.

'This bastard thinks we are easy to bully, it seems.'

Brent the baldie mused as he tried to control the rage continuously boiling over.

He then glanced at Stefan, who seemed equally infuriated. It appeared he could blow at any given moment.

"Sir Mouse, one should not try to swallow more than they can chew. Else they might choke after the first bite."

The Baldie Brent spoke as he looked at Taf with a warning.

"Yes, it is always good to take a step back. A wise lion knows when to stand down."

Stefan also seemed to be on the same wavelength as Brent's way of thinking. At the moment, his dagger glistened under the moonlight.

" Oh, I see.., so this will be my first case of delinquency. Interesting, Very interesting indeed."

Taf rubbed his chin as he observed the gangs become steaming red with anger,

"I don't know about the lion per se, but I don't care for the numbers of prey."

Tafari spoke as he playfully looked on the two gangs, seemingly planning a counter.

"You are a piece of work 'Sir Mouse'. At the moment, we are giving you the means to rethink. This seems like a bit of bullying, don't you think?

Instead, is it that you think us easily tyrannized?"

Brent the baldie drew for his knives as he took a step forward, and the members of the Eternal Death did the same.

"We, the members of the Violet Sun, also see this as nothing more than looking down on us. Maybe it's time to see for ourselves if the legends of the mouse are true."

The Violet Sun gang brandished their weapons as Stefan spoke with a look of fury. He still felt the pain that came from the kick to his face.

"Oh, twenty-six against one, that seems a bit unfair."

Taf scratched his head as he looked at the mob ahead.

Grins started to form on their faces as they looked at the numeric advantage they boosted.

" No, you don't seem to understand.

  I meant for you!"

Taf laughed as he took out two hammers that were on his back. These were his chosen weapons whenever he fought. Taf didn't know why but he liked the feeling of smashing. It seems to give him more of a thrill while fighting.

The angry mob rushed like a swarm of bees trying to suffocate a hornet as they attacked from all sides.

" Now, isn't this fun?

Hehe!

Times like these are when I feel most alive!"

Taf dove into the mob like a fish in a pond; he appeared before a member that tried to stab him. Only that man only saw five of his teeth flying from his mouth.

Three other members rushed at him from each side but soon found themselves in such pain that even a kick to the groin would be but a pleasure.

Their limbs could be seen in unusual positions as they got smashed by his hammers.

'Damn it.., is this guy even human?

He has this grin on his face as he seems to inflict pain on everyone.'

Cold sweat covered Brent the baldie as he watched his members fall to the ground one by one. It didn't matter how many attacked; they all fell by the wayside as Sir Mouse hammer smashed.

It was utter brutality, as seemingly every member he passed had a limb dislocated and bawling on the floor in anguish.

Stefan was dazed as he looked at seeming war zone scenes. Before he could catch a breath, the figure of terror appeared before him. The concept of this youth petrified him.

"This is what happens when one is delinquent with their payment."

CRACK!

Stefan screamed as a sound escaped from his mouth that could not be considered human. He held his knee and cried.

"Now, let me ask you, do you prefer one useless leg or both? I grow tired of these games.

I am no saint, so don't expect me to be one. This is a chance for you all to go on the right path."

Taf coldly gazed in his eyes,

"Perhaps I am witnessing the forming of the disabled Violet Eternal Death Sun Gang?"

There was a chill in his voice as he spoke. All members, whether Violet or Eternal, did not dare breathe too hard.

" Please..., please calm your anger Sir Mouse; we had eyes but could not see Mount Tai."

Stefan begged; he tried to stifle his anguish screams while holding his knees,

"We, the members of the Violet Sun, will humbly do as Sir Mouse says and pay over our monthly criminal tax."

He forced the words out as tears seemed to have dropped from his eyes. Stefan swore he would never cross this fiend in his life once more.

A bag was hurriedly handed over to Taf by Stefan as he bowed.

" See, this is what makes a relationship prosper. All it takes is proper communication, and everyone is happy, right?"

Taf weighed the bag as he spoke with a grin on his face.

" Baldie, is it that I am an incompetent teacher? Or is it that you still choose to be a delinquent student?"

Taf playfully tossed the bag in his hand while looking at Brent, the baldie, as he questioned.

"No, Sir Mouse, this one was just a little late in offering his payment. Please accept my deep apologies."

Brent the baldie squeezed those words out before carrying a pouch over while sweat poured from his forehead.

Receiving the pouch, Taf playfully weighed the pouch in his hands as he stared at Brent,

"Have you noticed a difference between you and pretty boy Stefan? Well, let me fill you in. He had one working leg, and you have two.

Now I am a youth brought up with principles and thought there should be equality throughout as that is only fair."

Chills ran through Brent the baldie's spine as he heard the words.

"Please, Sir Mouse, I plead for a bit of leniency."

He bowed while looking at the youth with dreads before him.

" Ok, I will be a kind-hearted soul for once.

Hmmm...

Just give me twice what you previously paid, and I won't seek the appropriate justice for Stefan. Seems fair, right?"

Taf grinned as he looked at the begging baldie on the floor.

A dejected Brent handed over another bag and left with his wounded members as they held their limbs in pain. Stefan also followed suit with his members and left while his face turned pale.

Sigh!

'This city is started to bore me. There is hardly any fight left.'

Taf looked as the disheartened gang members left.
