A Snowy Day (1)

In a flash, Taf appeared beside May who began to rapidly fall from the sky.

"You did well big flower. Go and rest for a bit. I'll take care of the rest," He stated. Her performance was quite remarkable but as usual, the Demon Inherent Art was a double-edged sword that drained her dantian dry.

"These battles are becoming more challenging Taf. I'm relying too heavily on my Demon Inherent Art," May stated a bit dejected. They were supposed to be the dynamic duo, but she did feel like Taf was shouldering most of the burden. Taf however would have none of it.

He then stated with a smile, "Well it's yours so what's the point of having it at your disposal and not using it. Besides, tougher battles simply mean more hurdles to use in our journey to become stronger. Can you believe I nearly got my behind kicked when overplaying my hand?" Taf smile became slightly awry with his utterance.
