Chapter 5

We were ready to get back to home even after knowing everything that happened in the past. Yet we're hopeless, we had no other options but to get back there. We had a long and serious conversation with the clergy and pleaded to help us out.

He kept quiet for few minutes and handed a piece of cloth wrapped around like a bow which had something like chalk dust and asked to spread it all around the house.

We agreed and heaved a sigh of relief as we were able to see a ray of hope and hoped to get out of the trouble soon.

We moved forward on the way to our home. As we entered the area, it was like darkness spread all over and soon someone from the bushes around would come and kill us.

The place was so creepy that we could hardly explain it in mere words. It sends a chill throughout the body. The darkness, the winds, the silence everything had a different vibe. It wasn't normal, it wasn't soothing rather it was damn scary.

Alex continuously consoled me, supported me ,kissed my hand and moved forward. As instructed we spread the holy dust all around the house except for the back area as it was too dark and no one dared to go at the back to spread it.

"Everything will be alright now", Alex assured me and we both moved inside. We were tired like hell from the chaos of the whole day. Although our tiring eyes didn't allowed to stay awake yet we were not at all ready to sleep as we were scared.

Lastly we were fast asleep and the night was over. Early in the morning, Alex wasn't beside me was what I noticed. I was tensed and jumped out of the bed in search of him.

I saw him sitting with red eyes filled with horror. I sat beside him and asked "What happened darling? Why are you looking so tensed, any issues?"

He rested his head over my chest and heaved a sigh of relief. "let's get out from here, it's no less than a hell".

I consoled and repeatedly asked him the matter but he kept quiet.
