One Change At a Time

The stand-by butlers and maids let go of Cayden and Ariana. They all bowed their heads as they took a rather large step back. "Anything else princess?" Bea K'r asked indifferently. "Let them freshen up too. They are guests not prisoners." Joanna said before she flicked her hair back and walked off. "As you wish, my princess." Bea K'r replied.

Bea K'r looked at Ariana and Cayden, his gaze darkened as he stared them down. "... This way." Bea K'r instructed. He then promptly turned around and started to walk away, he never paused to look back or make sure that Ariana and Cayden were following.

"You think he would be a bit more sociable to his Majesty's guests." Cayden groaned as he caught Ariana's hand. "That might be my fault, almost everyone here hates my father's side of the family." Ariana said with a deep sigh.
