Issue 86: A New Age End

MJ and Peter were relaxing with the Warriors 3 and Lady Sif while Peter waited for Thor and the Royals to finished taking care of the aftermath.

"I must thank you for your assistance. Many more lives would have been lost without you," Sif said with a bow.

"Ai, that the lad has been of great help is no lie, and that Armor you got on, how'd you make it?" Volstagg spoke up.

"Lots of prep and hard work, how do you make Uru into weapons?" Peter shot back.

"Lots of prep and hard work," Volstagg laughed as he repeated Peter's answer.

"It felt like all of my abilities were amplified several times over, and the powers at its disposal. You truly made a fearsome armor," Fandral shouted as he wiped the blood from his own Asgardian Alloy Armor.

"The Symbiote is alive, so I wouldn't call it that. Might not favor the next time you might end up wearing it."

"About that…can I give a copy to Sif?" MJ asked.

"Well, it's your choice. I mean, if you're asking me to make her one, I suppose I could…for a favor."

"What kind of favor?" Volstagg showed an interested expression.

"An oath that you'll never try to duplicate or copy the suit. Of course, the one's I'd give you wouldn't have the same powers MJ and I have collected over the years. You have to collect them yourself. The upside is that it will be made from the same materials and will be equipped with the latest A.Is.

"Is that it?" Sif blinked as if what she heard was just a joke.

"Of course not. I also want to be taught the methods of forging done by the Dwarves and Runic Magic," Peter crossed his arms.

"That…is a difficult request," Hogun rubbed his chin.

"But doable, no?" Peter smirked.

"We can teach what we know of Runic Magic, but asking the Dwarves to train you is harder. In order for that to happen, we'd have to ask for the blueprints to make this Symbiote," Volstagg replied.

"How about various rare metals from across existence. I can even make you all a large storehouse of Uru if you let me study it."

Peter made a pile of Adamantium, Vibranium, and even Proto-Adamantium.

Volstagg's mouth began to water as he stared at the materials.

"How did you…"

"Did I forget to mention that I'm an Alchemist at the same level as a Grand Master? Making materials is child's play to me."

MJ rolled her eyes and thought, "You can do a lot more with those Merlin Stones. Alchemy only lets us turn one thing into another, equivalent exchange doesn't mean squat when you can manifest matter from nothing."

"A Grandmaster? Hmm…I'll have to speak with them," Volstagg grinned wildly.

"Then you can take this as an offering to arrange that meeting," Peter smiled as he handed over a bag of holding that was just big enough to transport the metal bars.

Volstagg laughed loudly as he took them and said, "Very well. I'll do just that."

Thor interrupted their conversation as he flew down and spoke, "Peter, Mary, my parents wish to speak to you."

"That time already?" Peter smiled as he got up and stretched.

They were led into the throne room again where a more youthful pair of gods look at the two spider-heroes with respect.

"For defending Asgard, my son, husband and I have discussed what your reward should be," Frigga spoke up.

"For aiding Asgard during an invasion, dealing with the Infinity Stones, saving hundreds of our citizens, and restoring our youths, we have granted you the status as an honorary Asgardian. Should you two ever die, we will personally ferry your souls to whatever afterlife you desire. We also grant you land and titles for whenever you two are upon the soil of Asgard," Odin spoke with authority as he stamped his staff on the ground.

"I helped come up with the titles," Thor smiled, "The Spectacular Spiders of Asgard."

"Gee, you shouldn't have," Peter's eyebrow twitched.

"It was no trouble at all Peter," Thor slapped his back.

"No really, it wasn't necessary," MJ sighed at how bad that sounded.

"Since you have an interest in Asgardian magic, I've informed the Tome Keeper that you can have unfiltered access to the library." Frigga smiled as she announced her reward.

"That is pretty interesting. Rune Magic always interested me because of how much it resembled coding. The only difference is it uses characters instead of 0s and 1s." Peter started mumbling.

"Does he do that a lot," Thor asked.

"All the time," MJ chuckled.

"Well then, shall we go," Peter held his arm up.

"Yay, more books," MJ shook her head.

"It's a good thing we studied ancient Celtic and Norse languages during our stay at Kamar-Taj."

"Thor can you show us to the library?" MJ asked.

"It would be my honor, Lady Mary."

The three walked away while Odin looked at Peter's back.

"What do you see?" Frigga asked.

"Much, my dear, perhaps it will become Asgard's salvation. However, there is much that he has to go through. One chosen by Merlin will not live a peaceful life for long."

"The poor child…I'll never understand why that man would put his successor through such trails," Frigga sighed.

As Peter and MJ walked through the corridors, they chatted about Earth, catching Thor up on their many adventures and battles.

"So, you defeated heralds of the Octessence? That is quite the feat!" Thor showed a shocked expression.

"I had help. It wouldn't have been so easy if not for Kokyangwuti's help." Peter replied.

"The Spider-Goddess? Now there's a name I haven't heard in eons!" Thor showed a pondering expression.

"Anyways, MJ beat this guy who claims he's an Atlantean God. I think that's way more impressive."

"You defeated the Demi God Namor?" Thor's eyes widened.

"Sort of," MJ shrugged her shoulders.

"I'll have to visit after I finish my business reestablishing the Bifrost to rest of the realms. I'm quite curious to see how much Earth has changed."

"Sounds fun, we can get the whole gang together and throw a party," MJ added with a smile.

"Ah, how are the Avengers doing?" Thor questioned as he smiled brightly.

"Well, we're a much bigger group now, but we're all a lot stronger than you remember," Peter said seconds before they stopped in front of a large archway.

On the other side were rows and rows of books containing the collected knowledge of Odin and his many Asgardians compiled through their history.

Peter whistled, "Wow, it looks like this goes on forever."

"Everything we Asgardians ever learned since the founding of our homeland. My great grandfather Buri was the one who inspired the people to learn and founded the royal library. There are many secrets and a wellspring of knowledge gathered over thousands of years contained within these halls."

"I can see," Peter thumbed through the books and pulled one out called the birth of then nine realms and created a couch, table, and coffee with his Reality Topaz.

"I have to go, uh, check up on Lady Jane," Thor said as he looked at the book.

Peter smirked and waved his hand, locking Thor inside a barrier, "Stick around blondie, I'm sure you should take the time read in here too, I think you should focus on subjects on Rune Magic. It's a little weird that Loki is so good at the stuff, but you're stuck at the rudimentary level."

He released the barrier and said, "Besides, a library can be romantic too, especially for nerds like Doctor Foster. Trust me, she'll love this place."

"Is there any particular reason you want me to learn?" Thor showed a curious expression.

"Yeah, you're the dumb one," Peter said as he started reading.

"Pardon?"

MJ snorted and giggled before saying, "That's a little blunt, Tiger."

"Tiger's got claws," Peter chuckled before looking at Thor, "How many times has your brother outsmarted you. Seriously, in the recorded Lore we have, he's been pranking you since you were kids."

"Well,"

Peter cut him off and continued his explanation, "WELL, now your brother is a killer and a war criminal. I don't want him breaking out someday and pulling one over on you again. Besides, you should honor your Ancestor Buri's spirit by abiding by his wishes. He wanted Asgardians to have good brains on top of good bodies. You can consider it my request for saving Asgard if that makes you feel better. So, Odinson, what say you?"

As he held out the book he was reading, Thor sighed in resignation and said, "I've already read that one."

"Good, glad to know you aren't illiterate," Peter chuckled as he picked up where he left off. He was curious to see if he could inherit a fraction of Rune King Thor's ability if he just put in the effort.

"Very well, I shall get Jane. I hope you were speaking the truth about her liking this," Thor started to walk off.

MJ sat beside Peter and peaked at the book, "Any good?"

"Not bad, but this is just the start. I'll probably be reading for a few days straight."

"Well, I'll get started on finding something that catches my interest. Make my coffee for me," MJ gave Peter her best begging pout.

"3 sugars and 2 creams, right?" He rolled his eyes as he poured her a cup.

"You know me so well," She gave a kiss on the cheek before scanning the shelves for books that caught her interest.

They continued to read for several minutes until Thor and Jane came back. Of course, Jane was very interested in the place. Her eyes were practically glowing. However, her understanding of their ancient language kept her from being able to read them.

"That's okay, Thor here can teach you,"

"I can?"

Peter nudged Thor in the side before the big oaf said, "I mean, of course I can."

They spent almost a week reading and relaxing with the Asgardians. With the aid of his time manipulation spells, he could read several books in just a couple of hours, so they were making steady progress. They were even given a plot of land that Peter created a very nice modern house on.

Jane was just getting the hang of Asgardian language when Volstagg showed up with good news. The Dwarven King had given permission for them to learn in exchange for large quantities of ore for them to play with.

Peter was excited, but not nearly as much as MJ. She loved building things and couldn't wait to learn how Uru was made items. The metal was so unique and had so many different properties that thousands of ideas were brewing in her skull on what she could make.

They bid farewell to Jane and Thor before heading to the Bifrost to travel to Nidavellir. It was unlike anything he had ever seen before. The Movies didn't do this place justice. Nidavellir wasn't just the name of their star, but the planets surrounding it all belonged to the Dwarfs.

Each of them was filled to the brim with mountains and probably loaded with mythical metals and minerals that neither of the heroes had ever heard of.

"You know, I think being immortal will never get boring if I get to keep seeing sights like these," Peter thought as they followed Volstagg to a ship that took them to the Star Forge.

They marched through halls made of Uru and a material resembling copper.

"This place is incredible!" MJ's eyes sparkled.

"I have to agree with you there, babe. I don't even know what half of these machines are for."

"Hahaha! I glad we could impress!" Volstagg laughed.

They stopped in front a large doorway and stepped inside to see a short man wearing a crown and smithing attire.

Eitri, was tall for a dwarf. Roughly 5ft 7in, he had a long flowing beard, sculpted muscles, a pale complexion, and was also quite handsome.

"Volstagg! What brings you to my personal forge?" Eitri shouted as he opened his arms and gave his friend a hug.

"Sire! Glad to see ya in good health. As for why I'm here, you promised to speak with the Midgardians."

"Oh, was that today. Right, sorry about that. It must have slipped my mind," Eitri rubbed the back of his head before looking over at the two Spider Heroes, "Is that them?"

"Ai, they be the ones I spoke of."

"Good, I really like the metal you brought, especially the Proto-Adamantium. Strange name though."

"So, you've agreed to teach us?" Peter called out.

"Depends, can you deliver on your part?"

Peter smirked, "Do you have a map of your Star System I can look at?"

"Aie, that I do," The king nodded his head as he walked over to a pile of trinkets and started shuffling through them.

He stopped when he found a small golden sphere and walked back over before poking its top. The sphere suddenly opened up and shot out a holographic image of their star system.

"Hmm…3 habitable planets, how heavy is your star?"

"It's about 11,583,201,002.555233117353419 pounds."

"Alright, I'll make an entire planet out of Proto-Adamantium on the outskirts of you star system's gravitational pull. Its orbit shouldn't affect anything inside the inner planets."

"You can do that?" Eitri showed a shocked expression.

Peter pointed to a spot around 2 light-years away and said, "I already did."

Eirti walked over to his window with a portable telescope and peered into it, "Well I'll be a donkey's ass, it's actually there!"

The Dwarf King saw the shining ball of smooth metal the size of Earth quickly frosting over due to how far away it was from their star.

"Three more of those, and you got a deal. I want the Sonic Metal, Bone Steel, and Uru. Get me those at the same size, and you'll be a welcome guest and student of Nidaviller."

"I get that you'd call Vibranium Sonic Metal, but what's Bone-Metal?" MJ asked.

"It's a type of steel mixed with the bones of powerful creatures. We also call it Asgardian Steel." The king answered.

"Oh, so that's what Sif's weapons are made from. What bones went into hers?" MJ followed up with another question.

"Her sword is made from the bones of an Aragorn. However, my hammer is much better. It was made with the bones of an elder Troll rather than some scrawny winged horse." Volstagg brag as he held up his precious hammer.

"I don't think the Valkyries would appreciate you demeaning their steads," Eirti shook his head before looking at Peter, "I want one made with the bones of a creature on par with Fafnir."

"The dragon from the Norse Legends?" MJ questioned.

Peter nodded his head and said, "I think I can do that, but I'd need to inspect the bone first. But if you don't have one, I can think of a good substitute."

"Sorry, but we don't have the remains. They're hidden somewhere in the nine realms and imprisoned by the All Father himself."

"Well, I hope an Immortal Dragon is a good substitute, Also, I'll need to inspect Uru in order to copy it."

"Right," Eirti nodded his head before he went over to his forge and returned with a ingot of Uru.

Peter's heart thumped as he saw the metal and smirked. No matter how much he tried, he couldn't completely replicate the Uru. He could make metals with as many properties as he wanted, but without knowing what made Uru, Uru, it always resulted in an inferior product.

Even while copying Thor's hammer, from what he knew of the mystical metal, it was capable of many things outside of how the hammer worked. He needed Uru in its rawest form in order to truly understand it.

He scanned the ingot with the aid of his Mind Stone and Symbiote and felt like a wave of information exploded inside his head.

The hero gripped his forehead as he began to sweat. Sweat formed on his entire body as he fell to one knee and panted heavily.

"Peter!" MJ called out with a worried expression.

"Sorry, man, this is the real deal alright. It felt like I was watching the birth of the universe. God Tier metals are really on another metal/level, get it? This thing is built like nuclear pasta but it doesn't have the same weight. It doesn't have weight at all, not unless you want it..."

"Is the Uru too much to ask for?" Eirti asked with a furrow on his brow.

Peter shook his head and gave the okay sign as he poked at the locations of where the objects would form.

A quick burst with his Reality Topaz, and three new metal planets formed on the outermost reaches of their star's gravitational pull.

"I've added solar moons to them to make mining them easier. There's no light out there, figured that might help."

"Solar Moon?" Volstagg and Eirti showed a look of confusion.

"Just a really bright moon that emits star light. You should be able to spot them from here."

The dwarves and MJ looked over to see three small star like objects faintly glimmering in the distance. The Dwarven King looked through his magical telescope and smiled.

He confirmed that the Uru and Vibranium were legitimate, but the strange golden glow of the Bone-Steel concerned him.

"Hey, lad! The Bone-Steel is supposed to be silver in color. This one has a soft golden hue."

"Well, the Immortal Dragon's Bones were used to make them. So that glow probably represents the immense life forces within the new metal."

"The Immortal Dragon? Never heard of that one before," Eitri commented.

"Ai, it's news to me too." Volstagg nodded his head in agreement.

"I'm sure you haven't. It's a type of dragon born on Earth. They're called Lo'ongs and the Immortal Lo'ong is basically a deity. They have so much life energy, that they're pretty much immortal."

"HAHAHA! What an interesting property. I can think of a few things that it can be made into." Eirti's eyes showed a hint of greed and his fingers were twitching the desire to hold his hammer.

"With this much material, Nidavellir will have enough ore to play with until the next five hundred generations grow old and die!" Volstagg laughed.

"500 generations? Isn't that too little? It would take humanity hundreds of thousands of years to use up all that," MJ commented.

"Dwarves live for about as long as Asgardians. So that much should be plenty for these guys. Especially considering almost every dwarf born has some form of magic suited for handling metals and crafting. In one of the books I read, it was said that ancient Dwarfs were able to build stars and entire galaxies," Peter explained.

"He knows his stuff," Volstagg laughed.

"I had time to read up," Peter smirked.

"That's good you have a brain on those shoulders, but our smithing methods are about hammering our souls into the metal. It takes more than smarts to learn from us," The Dwarven King crossed his arms with a cocky expression.

Peter accepted the Dwarf's provocation and shot back just as hard. "Humans are pretty passionate and creative creatures. I'm sure we can show you a thing or two, maybe even more than you can show us,"

Eirti laughed as he slapped Peter's shoulders, "I can see why Thor likes this one so much. He's got a sturdy backbone! Should make a fine sword when he passes."

"So, when do we start learning?" MJ asked with an excited expression.

"Eager las, isn't she?" The King let out another cheerful laugh.

The group was led to a room where another Dwarf was teaching a class about various ores and their properties.

"So…school, huh?" Peter shook his head.

"If you want to gain our approval, you should learn with the newborn chicks," Eitri laughed as he walked away.

The two sighed and sat down for the lecture. Surprisingly, there was many subjects raised that piqued their interest. The Spider-Heroes continued to work in earnest. They were given their own room, a forge to work in, and spent almost a full month learning from the dwarves and their methods.

As it turned out, they forged with their hearts, willpower, and imagination. It was basically its own form of magic. The two humans worked tirelessly to improve and learn as much as they possibly could. So much so, that it was wearing them down.

Luckily, they had the ability to remote control their clones and visited earth every now and then.

Little by little, the Spiders spent more and more time delving into Dwarven Mysticism. They had the basics down, but when it came to forging abstract materials, the two were at a loss.

For instance, the ingredients to make the chains that held down Fenrir were as follows, noise of a cat's footfall, a woman's beard, mountain roots, the sinews of a bear, a fish's breath, and the spittle of a bird. How this made the one of the universe's strongest items of restraint completely baffled the two.

Of course, it wasn't a simple thing to make. Even Eirti couldn't easily perform such a feat at his current level. His father on the other hand was well versed all forms of smithing. He once forged a ray of light from first dawn into a simple steak knife to show off.

The days passed and the two were eventually allowed to forge alongside the other Dwarves.

MJ and Peter were shunned a bit when they first started, but when they started to show just how fast humans learned, they were slowly accepted by more and more of Nidavellir's people.

When Peter started cracking jokes, he always drew a crowd. The Dwarves all enjoyed the banter and never got violent regardless of how much they chastised each other. They considered calling each other names and making fun of the other person as a form of witty banter.

MJ was admired for her beauty and intelligence, but the Dwarves almost started worshiping her when they learned she was a Technopath. They spent hours asking her to help with their builds and constructs. However, MJ didn't mind or consider it a waste. She gladly assisted in helping them uncover how her Forge ability manifested their ideal machine.

Another 2 months had passed before they felt that they had learned enough and were ready to go home.

However, before they would say their goodbyes, Peter and MJ had one final project they were pouring their very souls into.

It was a pair of 2x2 inch plates that contained their deepest desires to protect themselves and others.

Peter stood over the forge while he slammed away with an Uru Hammer that imbued runes into a design MJ was creating.

Every time he smacked the hammer, sparks would fill the room with intense light. If not for the specialized equipment keeping their bodies safe, the sheer heat from the sparks would've been hot enough to sear through flesh and bone with ease.

Eitri watched on in awe as he saw the humans use their will to manipulate the Uru plate. With every blow, they continued to grow in expertise, "Incredible. These two have such strong hearts."

Buri, the brother of Eitri nodded his head in agreement, "Their focus is incredible. Most rookies end up letting stray thoughts affect the outcome, but these Midgardians are completely honed-in on their idea. Have things changed since the last time we visited Midgard?"

"Well, there were quite a few Blacksmiths that used to follow us back in the day. I don't remember any humans with this kind of ability. Perhaps we should take a look at Midgard and see how they've changed," The King spoke with his eyes never leaving the forge.

"Midgard, huh…it's been more than 1,000 years since we last went there."

A loud explosion interrupted the brothers as the light from the star forge and item enveloped the room entirely.

When the room returned to normal, both MJ and Peter were on the ground panting as if they had just got done running a marathon.

Two spider symbols that matched the ones on the fronts on their suits floated over the forge.

"Why is this so exhausting?!" MJ groaned.

"I guess our healing factor doesn't help with Magic Drain." Peter laughed as he said, "Not enough Mana."

"Dork…We still need to quench them. But I can barely move…"

"How about we finish it for ya, lass," Buri spoke up.

"You just want to take part," MJ smirked.

"Aye, what Dwarf wouldn't want to be a part of this. I've never seen such an advanced armor design before. How is it even supposed to work?" Eirti asked as he put on pair of Uru enchanted gloves and grabbed the symbols.

"Our suits are alive. It'll be able to fuse with the material," MJ answered.

"Ah, I see. Now it all makes sense," Buri rubbed his chin before opening a metal barrel filled to the brim with a large quantity of clear and vibrant looking oil that had mystical properties.

The Dwarven brothers used their magic to make the glowing spider symbols cool while getting infinitely harder.

The glowing runes on the two vanished as the metal spiders cooled down and turned white and black. They then etched in the runes the Spider-Heroes requested and felt the room shake as the items finished cooling down.

"I call dibs on the black one. It goes better with my color scheme," MJ said with a smile.

"Fine with me," Peter grumbled. Truthfully, he wanted the black one, but his soon to be wife was right. Her regular attire was a color swap of his own, so the black looked more appealing over the blue chest.

"White does pop more when it's against red," MJ smirked and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

The Dwarves finished solidifying the heroes' enchantments and pulled it from the oil before they walked over with each in hand. They were inspecting it as if they were some kind of precious gemstone.

"In all my years of forging for the gods, this is undoubtedly one of the best protective items I've seen," Buri commented.

"Oh, how you rank it?" Peter asked.

"It's easily the 5th greatest armor enchantments I've had the pleasure of helping craft," Eirti handed over the items.

Peter and MJ helped each other stand up as they reached out and took their newest addition to their Symbiotes.

They placed the spider symbols against their chests and watched it wrap around them like armor. The Symbiote absorbed it and suddenly sent a jolt of energy into their bodies. Their magic levels quickly returned to normal and all their fatigue from earlier vanished.

"Wow, you were right. Uru makes one hell of a source of Magic. While we're not at max, I definitely feel my Mana returning," MJ smiled.

"Of course, that's not all it can do. Though, I don't know about this design, it reminds me of Venom's spider."

"I think it looks good," MJ chuckled.

"So, I take it you two will be leaving soon," Eirti smiled as he inspected their suits.

"Yeah, it's about time we head home. I still have a lot of stuff to do," Peter replied as he thought of Venus and how he'd populate it.

"Don't be strangers and stop by every now and then," Buri smiled with crossed arms.

"Will do," MJ waved as a portal opened.

They both jumped in and wound up back on Earth, standing over the tallest building as they took a leap into the air.

"Wow, has it really only been 4 months? The air is so clean!" MJ commented as he let out a web.

"Tony must have been working hard," Peter smirked before shooting a line to a nearby building.

"No doubt, I can see a bunch of Reactor Engines in everyone's cars. Even the old models have it," MJ ran on the side of a wall and ziplined over to ledge before vaulting off of it.

"Ah, we should just dismiss the clones," Peter hopped off a building and onto another before zip-webbing to a high rise.

When they stopped a block away from the Avengers Tower, the two dismissed their clones and absorbed their memories. Instantly realizing what exactly had happened while they were away, they looked at each other laughed.

"I told him he would make more money if set up an exchange center to replace engines in older models. Most people don't want to pay the price for a new car, but if it's just the engine…I just helped Tony and Johnny make a fortune."

"I got everything for my film studio done. With this, I can keep the girls that work under me safe. I think we have good enough taste to buy some scripts or get certain movies made." MJ nodded her head.

"So, Rosemary Film Studio is a go? Are you guys just going to do movies?"

"Yep. For now at least. I look into making Series later."

"You know, I can think of a few good movie ideas that I can recommend. I'm sure with the right people writing, there are a few stories that can make you some money."

"Oh, I can't wait to hear it over dinner," MJ smirked.

"You don't believe me?" Spider-Man looked hurt.

"Ooh, I believe you. I sure it'll be very interesting," Mary Jane laughed as she shot out a web line.

"So, what are you going to do now that you have the Studio?"

"Whatever I want," MJ smiled as she jumped off the building and started swinging across the city.

Peter chased after and checked out the new sights. All of the mini-bots had improved several of the buildings and even repaired older houses to make everything way better than it used to be.

They had a clean source of energy that was capable of powering entire planets, crime was at an all-time low, and New York was now considered to be one of the safest places in the world.

Peter landed on a building next MJ and said, "So, how's the whole White Tiger situation?"

"She's interested. However, if we want to find the bones, we'll need to go to Africa."

"Wakanda, huh?" He thought to himself before saying, "Well, I have to help Reed with the Multiverse Tunnel. With what we learned, I think we can actually pull it off."

"Cool…so…three more months…" MJ grinned under her mask.

"Getting nervous?"

"You wish," She chuckled as she sat against the edge of the rooftop, "See ya at home! I'm going to check on the girls."

Peter shook his head as thought, "I'm the one that's nervous. I can't help but feel like the universe was out to get us sometimes. I just hope nothing happens to interrupt us."

Shaking his head free of any anxieties, Spider-Man slapped his cheeks a couple of times before he webbed off to the Baxter Building.

He landed at the upper balcony and made the Symbiote take the shape of blue jeans, converse sneakers, and a black t-shirt.

"Anyone home?" Peter loudly asked as he walked inside.

"Pete, it's good to see you," Sue approached him with her kid cradled in her arms.

"Heya, kiddo. You're so cute!" Peter poked Franklin's belly and made him giggle, "Where's Reed?"

"He's still working on the bridge."

"I hope he isn't neglecting you two," Peter stared at the mother and son.

"He's still a little forgetful, but he's a great dad. Not to mention, I'm there to bring him back to Earth anytime he gets complacent," Sue smiled.

"Good to hear. How about Johnny? Where's he at?"

"Oh, he's out testing the flight of a new machine. Said something about being inspired by One Piece. Whatever that is."

"It's an anime, and I'm glad I finally got him to watch it."

At that moment, Johnny was riding a strange looking aircraft that was using the thrust generated by the jets of fire emitting from his feet, "With this thing, Interplanetary Space Travel is going to be piece of cake. I should fly over to Venus and troll his new planet, maybe write my name in the tallest mountain or draw a massive dick that can be seen from space on its surface. Universe, here comes Johnny!"

Peter shivered.

"Something wrong?" Sue asked.

"It's probably nothing to worry about."
