Planning a trip

Eva was at home cooking food for her grandma before rushing to her office. In this whole world, she only had her grandmother who loved her and had never left her alone. She loved her dearly. Her parents died in a car accident when she was very young. She had no recollections of them but had a lot of pictures of them. Whenever she would miss them a lot, she would go to their graveyard and take flowers along with her. She would sit for hours there and talk to them as if they were sitting right there. She would visit them whenever she had time. On the other hand, her grandma was always cheerful but after their death, she had become quieter. She had grown up right in front of her grandma and both of them complemented each other one way or the other. She would always take utmost care of her grandmother and felt happy being with her.

Coming back from her memories, she served the food to her grandmother and quickly headed to her office. She worked as a data analyst in a company which paid her quite handsomely. She had been working there since last three years and had never faced any problem.

While she was analysing one of the reports, her phone began ringing. She saw the caller is and it was "KRISTIE". She instantly picked up.

" Hello Ms.Scott, how have you been? Hope you remember your longtime friend." Kristie said sarcastically.

" Shut up Kristie! We just met on Sunday and you are talking as if we have not met for decades" Eva replied.

" Darling, you don't know that living without you for even one day seems like decades to me. Is that what we call love?" Kristie chuckled.

" Grow up Kristie, that was insane. Anyways, may I have the privilege to know why you called me?" Eva said.

" Oh, actually I was wondering if you were free next week?" Kristie asked.

" Yeah, most probably I am. Why anything important?" Eva told her.

" Nah, just wanted to let you know that since we both are free, we are going on a vacation to Paris next week" Kristie replied casually.

" Nah, I can't because..."

" I didn't ask for your agreement. I have ordered you to accompany me next week and no buts" Kristie said with a warning tone.

Kristie could never be stopped from getting back on what she had decided once.

" Your wish is my command, master!" Eva had no choice but to unwillingly accept the proposal.

" Okay then, I call you back later. Bye!"

"Bye!"

Although she had accepted the proposal, she was worried about her grandmother. She hurriedly called her and fortunately, her grandmother agreed to her going on the trip. Also, until she comes back, her grandma would be staying with her uncle. Well, at last, she became excited for the trip after all her worries died down.

Little did she know, this trip was going to bring a huge surprise for her that would turn her world upside down.
