NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT

Guan leisurely sits on the couch with a glass of whiskey in his hand. He is staring into space, thinking of what had just transpired inside the hospital room with his father earlier. The memory is still vivid and it's making his stomach churn. Why the hell did he just cry in front of his father?!

And just like that, they are already on speaking terms with his father. It was a good thing, but did he have to cry?

"Fuck!"

Zheng Li An and Su Bin turn his way. They were talking peacefully, leaving Guan alone in his own bubble, and now he is suddenly cursing them out of nowhere?

They are in one of the private rooms of Zheng Li An's club. Ever since Guan had been in the country, this club became their meeting place and hideout.

"You're welcome," Zheng Li An speaks with a smirk. "You are always grumpy when you visit. What is it this time? Did this punk do something again?" he points at Su Bin, not erasing the smirk on his face.

"It's nothing," Guan replies quietly while shaking his head.

"Hey, Bro, come on now, stop sulking. Here," Su Bin throws an envelope on the table, "I've done what you've asked me for. Tell me I did a great job!"

Guan stares at the envelope and then at Su Bin. Raising his eyebrows, he picks up the brown thing, taking out its contents. Browsing through the papers, Guan's tightened face slowly relaxes. It pleased Su Bin as he watched his cousin's eyes sparkle while skimming through the papers.

Zheng Li An leans forward, also reading the papers in Guan's hands. "Liu Yang. A woman?" he gawks at the two, his brow raised in an arch.

"Make sure you won't be blue-balled by Amy this time." Su Bin utters meaningfully.

"What?" Zheng Li An laughs with him, steadying himself on the chair.

Guan truly understood what Su Bin meant. His face darkened as he was reminded of the events at the hospital earlier.

He just recovered from the memory of him crying he made in front of his father. And now, Su Bin reminded him of how Amy interrupted his sweet time with Liu Yang.

Tossing the papers on the table, Guan crosses his legs, his deep-set eyes staring at the two across his seat. They are both grinning from ear to ear.

"You saw, didn't you?"

"Huh?" Su Bin glances at Zheng Li An. Their eyes meet, and both of them are confused as to whom Guan is talking to.

Crossing his arms, Guan unlocks his legs and leans forward to the table, his eyes sharply staring at Su Bin.

The latter gulps – his eyes twitching.

What did he do wrong this time?

"Don't you dare tell anyone about it!"

His deep voice sent shivers down Su Bin's spine. "When did you get this creepy, uh? Okay, okay!" he said, putting the glass down and raising his hands in the air – declaring defeat, "I won't tell anyone that you cried in front of Uncle!"

"Do you wanna die?"

Su Bin bit his tongue, shutting his eyes in agony. 'Aish! Crap!'

"What?" They just heard Zheng Li An crazily laughing on the side. "Care to repeat what you just said, Su Bin!" he said while clutching his stomach.

It irks Guan that his ears turn beet red while glaring at Su Bin.

"Good job, genius."

Flabbergasted, Su Bin is lost for words and just exasperatingly looked at Zheng Li An – his eyes begging him to stop laughing.

"Ahh~! That was fun~" Zheng Li An wipes the corners of his eyes. "What is wrong with crying, though? "Look at you, all red and shy. Cute!" he laughs once again.

"Shut up!"

"Why are you so damn afraid that the world will know about you crying? Is it because you felt weak and vulnerable?" Zheng Li An sighs, "As if crying is not part of being human."

"You just did the thing that I was afraid of the most – as you said it."

"Ahh~! I wasn't laughing at the thought of you crying. I was laughing because of how you acted. You look terrified."

"You're mental," Guan mutters while shaking his head.

"It's not like Su Bin's going to use it against you? Or is he going to?"

"U-uh?" Su Bin stutters. "W-why would I use it against him? Like what Brother Zheng said, there is nothing wrong with crying."

"What?!" he shouts at them. Their intent stares are really, really scary.

Guan was the first one to break his eye contact and goes back to drinking, while Zheng Li An scoffs at him – reaching out an arm and ruffling his hair. They are crazy. Yeah! They definitely are! These hooligans!

Glad his phone rung, distracting him from these two crazy men. His face suddenly lights up seeing the caller ID. He rose to his feet to take the call outside.

Guan and Zheng Li An follow him with their stares however, he ignores them, continuing his steps outside.

In the dim hallway…

"Hi, babe. What is it?" Su Bin leans against the hard, cold wall.

"Nothing."

Su Bin smiles hearing Yu Mei's voice from the other end of the line. His face softens just thinking about her. If the two hooligans saw him right, they would probably kick him out of the building.

"You miss me, don't you?" he has this silly smile on his face.

Yu Mei giggles. "En. So you better come home quick. My shift in the hospital is fast approaching."

He sighs and clicks his tongue. "What to do? I'm still with the boys. They'll kill me if I bail out on them this early."

"It's fine. I'll wait for you."

"Really?" Su Bin's smile widens.

"Of course. Be quick."

Yu Mei whispered the last words, sending shivers down Su Bin's spine.

God! He wanted to speed home right now.

"Hmm~. I'll be home soon."

"Okay."

"Bye. I love you."

"I love you."

Su Bin gazes at the dark screen of his phone, his back still leaning against the wall. From time to time, waitstaff passes his way with trays and trolleys – bowing and greeting him while he smiles back at them.

Up until now, he still feels over the moon every time Yu Mei says she loves him despite them being together for over two years. If only they could tell the world about their relationship in the open, it would mean so much to both of them.

Ah, she wants to see her so bad.

He snaps out of his reverie – thinking they might probably be looking for him right now. H had been gone for quite a while now.

Only to be dismayed by the scene.

Inside, the two are minding each other's businesses.

On one hand, Guan is once again reading the files Su Bin handed him earlier – and drinking from time to time.

On the other hand, Zheng Li An is looking at something on his phone, having that creepy smile on his lips. Well, more like a lustful smile.

"Why are the two of you quiet?"

He did not get a reply.

'Wahh! Really now?'

He rose to his feet and went to the door.

"Sit."

The two said in unison.

Su Bin's hand froze at the door handle and slowly turned to face them. 'See? You are bored without me,' he mocks them inside his head. Shrugging, he went back to his with a wide grin.

----

Su Bin puts the car key on the stand while removing his shoes. The living room and kitchen are already dark. He reckons Yu Mei is upstairs, sleeping.

The two started living together last year. They decided to reside at Yu Mei's condo since it is near the hospital where Yu Mei works.

It is a two-story condominium with three rooms. The big is too big for them but the place is gifted by Yu Mei's parents. Luckily, they once visited her, or else, they might probably be busted a long time ago.

Dragging his tipsy body on the stairs, Su Bin slowly removes his coat. The stairs are making him out of breath. Did he drink too much? They only finish a bottle of whiskey, though.

"Well, hello there!"

Su Bin arrived in their room with Yu Mei coming out from her bath. Leaning against the door frame, he admires her drying her hair with the robe hugging her body.

"You're early. What a surprise!" she briefly looks at him before grabbing the hair dryer, and turning her back on him.

Su Bin chuckles at the hint of sarcasm in her voice. He slowly approaches her and snatches the dryer from her. "Let me."

Yu Mei lets him dry her hair. She closes her eyes, feeling his fingers on her scalp gently massaging her. They never said a word, only the dryer's humming is heard in the room.

"Dear customer, it's done." Su Bin whispers in her ear.

Yu Mei sluggishly opens her eyes and meets his on the vanity mirror. For a moment, it feels like she could drown in his eyes. It heated her entire body even though she just had a bath.

"Hup!"

Su Bin carries her all of a sudden – princess-style.

"Put me down!" Yu Mei protests, hitting his chest.

But Su Bin pays her no mind, taking big strides towards the bed. He gently puts her down, trapping her in between his muscly arms and kisses her.

Yu Mei tries to push him away but Su Bin is too heavy and strong.

"Wait!" she finally breaks away from him. She pants and fixes her robe.

"You don't want to?" Su Bin asks, pouting.

She grimaced and smacks a pillow on his face, making him chuckle.

"Before that, I have something to show you. Here."

Yu Mei throws the photos on the bed, biting her lips and waiting for Su Bin's response. The latter sits up and takes the photos with no evident emotion.

"How?"

"Oh?" Yu Mei was baffled at first but then, she understood what he meant. "Ahm, Big Brother gave it to me. He said a paparazzi came to him and threatened him or something. Babe, what if—"

"Shhh." Su Bin hushes her with his finger. "This is such a trivial matter. Don't worry about it, okay?"

Yu Mei feels skeptical, but what can she do? She just nods her head.

Su Bin smiles, creeping his hand on her legs. "Now, where were we?"

Yu Mei helplessly smiles. "You're childish. And you didn't even tell me you have met my brother."

"So what? No harm done." He says in between her neck.

"Ah! That hurt~!" she whines when he bit her.

"But you like it." Su Bin has this evil grin on his kips that Yu Mei finds sexy.

She tugs his tie towards her, claiming his lips. Yu Mei hears a groan from him, making her bite his lower lip as revenge for biting her earlier.

Su Bin pulls away and checks if there is blood. This makes him even more excited. He removes his tie, tosses it on the floor, and pounces on her.

Unknowingly to Yu Mei, Su Bin had crumpled the pictures. He is definitely going to get to the bottom of this.
