Sweeter than Fiction

"Wow! That was some awesome scene." Su Bin comments the moment Li Jun and Zheng Li An leave the room.

Yu Mei pinches his thigh hard after saying that and scowls at him. He whispers a 'sorry' to her, trying to hold her hand, but Yu Mei flicks his hand away.

"Why don't we start eating, then?" Liu Yang uncomfortably tells everyone, trying to sound enthusiastic and lift up the mood but fails to do so.

It startled Guans. She never really sounded this way – not when he was present. That's new, and he likes it a lot, even if it sounds awkward and out of place. Guan bows his head to hide a smile.

Liu Yang pushes a button, indicating they are ready to get the food served. A while later, two servers came with a trolley with their food.

As soon as they start eating, the mood becomes light with their casual conversations – except for Wan Li, who is still in the dumps after that argument with Li Jun.
