Hes someone who you used to know

"Are you done?" Sandy looked at him, she was grinning.

She purposely bought a lot of clothing just to annoy him.

"I'm so sorry, I choose a lot of stuff," she said acting cute thinking she could annoy him.

"Strange, it was less than I expected" was all Rein could say. He can never say how her eyes looked like she was about to cry but she was hiding it behind her smile.

" Huh?" She didn't expect it, she thought she could annoy him. Reil finished paying for all the stuff she bought and went to the car. They seemed like going somewhere she doesn't know.

"Here" Reil gave her the paper bag. She opened it and finds the newest brand of iPhone.

"What's this?"

"A simple thank you would be nice" Sandy looked at him for a moment then return the phone back to him.

"I don't need it, don't bother giving me one," Sandy said forcingly showing a smile.

"Why?" Rein was confused.

"Where are we going?" Sandy asked changing the subject, she hasn't even had lunch.

"We're already there"

The car stopped in front of a seafood restaurant. It was a simple diner, so far from what she imagined. How can a loaded CEO eat in a place like this?

"Let's go" Sandy followed him inside the restaurant, and an old lady about '50s approach him and hugged him.

"Ohh, dear Reil!! It's been a while!! So glad you come by!" The old lady said as she hugged him like she hasn't seen him for years.

"It's been so long, I thought you have forgotten about us"

"How could I, I grew up eating your cooking, how could I forget, and besides I miss this place a lot," He said smiling

Sandy couldnt ignore the fact, that seeing Reil smile like that in front of the old lady gives her a different and good vibe from him. He actually knew how to smile.

"Whos the lady? she seems familiar? do I know her?" the old lady asks him as she notices her.

"Oh, Mama Nita she is Sandy" the old lady (Mama Nita) eyes grew in shock

"Sandy? you mean Sandy?!" Reil nodded.

Sandy was confused. Does this lady know her?

"Uhm yes, should I know you?" she asked.

"Don't you remember me...." but before she could continue, Reil interrupted her

"Mama Nita is your speciality still available"

"Ohh no, but since you come here often ill cook it just for the both of you, sit wherever you like, ill prepare it, okay" Reil nodded.

"Thank you, Mama Nita, come on"

They sit at the corner of the restaurant beside the window while waiting for the food to be ready.

"Reil, should I know her" Reil glance at her and looks away

"Don't overthink yourself, maybe your name is just the same as someone she used to know"

"Oh Okay"

After a few minutes, the food was served and they start to eat. No one was talking nor looking at each other. They're like someone who eats at a different table.

*Bzzp*

The silence between them broke when Reil's phone vibrate. It was an incoming call.

"Wait ill just take this" and he went outside.

Just for a few minutes, Reil was outside, Mama Nita went to their table.

"Wheres Reil?" asked the old lady.

"Oh, he answers a phone call"

"Ohh, so you two are still together huh, it been so long"

Sandy looked at her, confused. It's like there is something that she needed to know.

"What do you mean? I just met him a few days ago, my family arrange a marriage between us"

"Really? Isn't he someone you used to know?....." Mama Nita started to think and looks at her again "... or maybe I was just mistaken"

"I think you mistook her for someone else Mama Nita"

They both look at Reil. Guess he finished talking on the phone.

"Are you done? I have a business meeting to attend"

Sandy nodded.

They both bid goodbye to the old lady and went into the car.

"Hey Reil, is she someone I know or does she know me?"

"Just drop it, she's old, she mistook you for someone else" Sandy shrugged her shoulder.

"Hmmm, guess so"
