Snap 6: Arrival.

We stood and then we saw them, two people. When we asked what was going on, we were told they transferred in all of a sudden, for "Family work reasons". There were two of them. One was taller than the other, had long blonde hair and blue eyes. And by tall, she seemed Amazonian even compared to the guys, but she didn't seem rough. She had an almost gentle maturity to her, and impeccable posture to boot. The other was shorter, of a below average female height, and a redhead, with short hair and a sort of rowdyness in her eyes emphasized by their magma red colour. Their names were Venessa and Mabel respectively, their last names were Juniper. They were in the official class after ours, 1-B compared to our 1-A, but in our English class. The hubbub came from how much they stuck out and, frankly, I got it.

They walked in and politely introduced themselves, with Mabel having a frown to Venessa's smile. And then... all was normal. The rest of the day went without a hitch... no... that's a lie. Since Ai was the Student Body President, chosen by the staff, she was obligated to assist, and therefore, by extension, so did I.

"Hi, my name's Ai, nice to meet you." She said.

"It's quite the pleasure to meet you, I hope we get along." Venessa said, bowing.

"Mhm, nice to meetcha." Mabel said, off handedly.

...It appears I've been ignored...ok.

We made simple conversation, filling them in on the Hercules project when Venessa chimed in.

"Did you know that Hercules got his name from the Romans who changed it from the Greek original Heracles? Quite fascinating, is it not?

"Ugh," Mabel said, "Let's just get this done and find that guy later..."

"Um... what guy?" Ai inquired, "I'd refrain from searching out for people when you're still new, you'll attract too much attention."

Mabel seemed to realize she slipped up, so, to cover Vennesa answered:

"Our father told us one of his employees son's goes to this school, and asked the employee if he would be generous enough to have his son help us here."

"Oh, that seems reasonable. What guy?" I said.

"A gentleman by the name of Aleks, we were told." Venessa answered.

"HUH?!" I and Ai exclaimed. I wondered why she was so surprised.

"Oh? Do you happen to know this man, by chance?" She asked, not reading the mood.

"Yeah, that's me." I said kinda confused.

"What a coincidence, it's almost as if Dad did it on purpose and told us. Ya see, this is what happens when you only bother with "fun facts" and not important crap. It's also why I have the better grades!" Mabel said, nose held high.

"Oh my... I do apologise." Venessa said.

I was just confused why Dad said nothing. At around that time, my phone rang. I stood up, walked into the hallway and answered the phone.

I walked back in, vein popping.

"He forgot to say."

School THEN followed on per usual. We showed them around and they seemed almost dazzled by the most mundane things. Must've been sheltered. When we said bye to each other, I realized I had some weird gut feeling in me the whole time. I take the commute back home. Dad said sorry. I walk into my room.

And in front of my eyes, I see a small person, sitting on my bed.

"Ah... you're here," she said "I've been waiting.

My name is Jupiter."
