Snap 16: Power.

"Oh, took you long enough!" Jupiter smirked.

It took me a few seconds to remember what just happened. It was seemingly only a few minutes ago, but it feels as if... as if I lived all of that out.

"Looks like you figured out your talents, well done."

I looked down at my hands and lightning was emitting from them. The blue crackle of the plasma in my hands was mesmerizing.

"Alright, it's 'bout time." I said. "...hey, how about we make a bet?"

"Hm? You're challenging me? Instead of celebrating, you're challenging a God?" She replied, smirking.

"I can't finish what I started without it."

"Then tell me, what is it you want?"

"If I win this spar you answer my questions, if I lose, I'll... well... I don't think I'll lose anyway."

"Oho?! Then come!" She shouted. Jupiter lept back taking a battle stance.

I got up and tried my first spell. Didn't require an incantation for something so strong, yet simple.

I ran towards her dodging energy bullets. I kept my hands behind my back to prepare my attack. The lightning was taking form into a weapon. They took the form of spiked Chakrams. Circular blades with spikes protruding from many points on the weapon.

"Oooh, creative choice! Lets see how you do with it."

I kept up the pace, dodging and weaving through and around her attacks. A wide volley i wouldn't normally be able to dodge was blasted. I leapt into the air and threw my Chakram at Jupiter. She was surprised by my attacks. She dodged on her own. Once I landed, I redirected the Chakram to keep up the attack. I landed a hit.

"Grgh... well done! Keep it up, the Demons won't stop if you hit them only once!"

I kept going. I kept moving constantly to avoid getting hit. I turned invisible and phased myself through the ground. I kept phasing through the ground then back to the top to force confusion. I started teleporting while doing that to render my self undetectable. I lept for the final blow.

I fell down to kick, but my leg was caught.

"What the?!"

"You still have so much to learn. A big one is to never show your killing intent."

"Killing intent? I didn't intend to kill anyone."

"It's more of an unconscious thing. The Gods and their descendants are the worst when it comes to concealing the overwhelming pressure that comes just from being who they are."

She let go of my leg.

"I'll give you one more chance to hide your killing intent."

I would also have to change my strategy before that.

Another volley of blasts came my way.

I jumped across the room, dodging all of the blasts, but I got grazed by onee.

"Tch!"

I kept going. I was running low on ideas, that was until an incantation came into my head. ...This'll do. I saw the golden opportunity. I started chanting the incantation.

" O'Light of mine, O' heed my call..."

"Woah! An incantation! Come on, give it a go!" Jupiter yelled encouragingly.

he incantation wasn't complete yet, a few more verses.

I jumped straight to Jupiter and kicked her down to the ground.

"Hmph!" I grunted.

I leapt back for the finishing verses, bringing my hands back, to charge the attack

"O' greatest Lightning, O' Strongest of all, smite my enemy, who displays the gall... HEED MY CALL, MAKE MINE ENEMY FALL! RAIN OF THE GODS!"

I pushed my arms, charged with lightning, down below me. A holy rain of lightning was cast down, the blue lightning was utterly destroying the room.

"Alright I yield!"

I stopped the attack.

"You have some questions to answer."
