Basically Filler

A small distance away, [Forge A Wall] and his party members watched with wonder. Had they found a Special Monster? An Elite? World Boss? The possibilities seemed endless with how things had been going so far in the game.

"Should we try to fight it?" (Darkling)

"I think it's worth a try. Who knows? Maybe we might defeat it and get some Unique weapons or armor." (Cleveland Gooch)

"It would seem that my opinion no longer matters. Let's go!" (Forge A Wall)

[Forge A Wall] followed by [Darkling] and [Cleveland Gooch] charged toward this potential jackpot. The guild part that attacked first was ecstatic, their bravery increased by many folds with the reinforcements.

Off to the side, the other guild party seemed content to just be observers. The reason behind their apprehension in fighting this supposed 'monster' wasn't due to their leader's Inspect skill, but rather his kinetic vision. Their leader had noticed an anomaly, most monsters and NPC's at this stage did not wield weapons with special attributes. This was only one of the reasons, of course, the other was because he happened to catch a glimpse of a pop-up on the chest of this skeleton.

Although the party appeared reserved, one of the members seemed to be incredibly impatient. This fellow was itching to get into a fight with this skeleton who launched [Fortify] apparently with ease.

"Leader, are you sure you saw it?" (???)

"You doubt my eyes, Memo?" (???)

"Not at all Leader, I just... I wanna fight." (Memo)

"There'll be time for fighting later. Do not forget that we have yet to leave the Starting Lands." (???)

"Yes, Leader..." (Memo)

"Should we continue in the direction of the lightning and that ominous light, or are we going to stay and observe the fight between the skeleton and Wraiths of The Ruined?" (???)

"I think we'll stay and watch, for now, it would seem that the color released from the skeleton's hammer is quite similar to the light we saw on the horizon. What do you think Dead Soul?" (???)

"I think that would probably be best, although, I'm not opposed to investigating the original target." (Dead Soul)

"In that case, we'll be staying for now. Does anyone have any ideas what our goal should be once we've established the guild?" (???)

"Other than being the top guild, I think we should be prepared to eventually build cities and a trading company. They'll be our best bet for a stable income to support guild activities." (???)

"While that is a good suggestion, Clumsy, it might be best to first establish ourselves before we begin economic growth." (Dead Soul)

"What are thinking, Dead Soul?" (Clumsy)

"My thoughts are leaning more towards expeditions and clearing Dungeons." (Dead Soul)

"Excellent ideas, both of you. Does anyone else have suggestions? Newt? Badger?" (???)

The party leader looked at his other companions. Despite asking for their input, the leader had already set his mind on what he was going to do. He planned to establish the guild, clear the surrounding dungeons, gain some notoriety, then begin construction of his empire. While others would call him overly ambitious, he believed himself to be one of the few people who could achieve what he sought out to do.

"Either option is good to me, I'll follow whatever you choose." (Newt)

"My stance is the same as Newt's, feel free to choose at your discrepancy." (Badger)

"Thank you all for your counsel. I, Plastic Peanut, Guild Leader of the soon-to-be guild Slayers of The Damned, look forward to our eternal brotherhood. What say you?" (Plastic Peanut)

"As do I." (Newt)

"Yee yee." (Badger)

"Thank you for the patronage." (Dead Soul)

"Stop it, you're making me blush, Leader." (Clumsy)

With that said, they all brought their heads together in a huddle.

"Who are we?!" (Plastic Peanut)

"Slayers!"

"What do we do?!" (Plastic Peanut)

"Slay!" (Dead Soul, Clumsy, Newt, Badger)

"Why do we do so?!" (Plastic Peanut)

"To achieve victory!" (Dead Soul, Clumsy, Newt, Badger)

"Slay on three!" (Plastic Peanut)

"1!" (Plastic Peanut)

"2!" (Plastic Peanut)

"3!" (Plastic Peanut)

"Slay!" (Plastic Peanut, Dead Soul, Clumsy, Newt, Badger)

Watching from the side Carmen was riddled with confusion. Why had these fellows started hyping themselves up? Hadn't they been discussing what they'd be doing? Weren't they going to fight him? Not bothering to try and comprehend their actions, Carmen raised his hammer. In one swift motion, Carmen brought his hammer down, knocking a couple of trees askew, leveling the ground in a 10-foot radius, and scaring the self-proclaimed slayers into the air.

"If you're hyping yourselves up, does that mean you're gonna fight?" (Carmen)

The Slayers of The Damned party looked back toward the first enemy of their expedition. They had been so distracted by their conversation that they forgot to observe an enemy right in front of them. Looking around, [Plastic Peanut] failed to notice any living expedition members, other than those from his party of course.

"Well, are you?" (Carmen)

"No, sir!" (Plastic Peanut)

Carmen looked at the party leader with skepticism, the leader in question was glancing back and forth between Carmen and the bodies in the surroundings. The party leader wasn't too sure about how he should de-escalate this situation. This skeleton, which was quite possibly a player, had somehow defeated 8 people by himself.

If this skeleton was a World Boss it would explain his immense strength, but if he was a player... There most certainly was something everyone had been doing wrong. And if that wasn't the case, what sort of special event had this fellow come across to be so strong?

"Oh, then what's the deal with these fellows?" (Carmen)

"What?" (Plastic Peanut)

"Why'd they attack?" (Carmen)

"It would seem that when you flew over here you had killed one of their party members!" (Plastic Peanut)

"Oh, that fellow. That's unfortunate, please convey my apologies..." (Carmen)

"In that case-" (Plastic Peanut)

"Is what I would have said, but I was attacked without so much as a word of questioning. I think it is only fair that I receive a bit of compensation. Don't you think so?" (carmen)

"Ehm, I guess that makes sense. Should I contact the other parties?" (Plastic Peanut)

"Thank you for-" (Carmen)

As Carmen tried to thank the party leader for being so understanding, a black shadow stalked its way toward them.
