I'm Not Good With Titles

After Carmen finished his conversation with Supervisor #1, the mysterious power holding him in place vanished and Erebus was lifted ever so slightly off the ground. As this happened Erebus, as well as [Plastic Peanuts]'s party, were caught in an abrupt bout of confusion.

Suddenly, a golden light appeared in the sky above Erebus. This golden light twisted and turned before eventually condensing and settling into the appearance of a black hole. This black hole spanned 50 feet in diameter and blocked out the moon in the sky. Slowly, a hand began pushing through this black hole and reached for Erebus.

Erebus watched this in wonder and excitement, 'Father had come for him!' The hand slowly grasped the area around Erebus and pulled him up into the sky towards the black hole.

"Heathen, I shall settle this transgression with you at a later date. Don't try to hide." (Erebus)

"Haha, you don't even know why you are being picked up. I wish you luck in an inactive state!" (Carmen)

"What do you mean, Scum?!" (Erebus)

"You will know in due time, Erebus. For now, we are not equals, once you have been released you will be removed from existence and I shall see to it myself." (Carmen)

Carmen got quite a chuckle from his marvelous acting abilities, hopefully VR Projekt recognizes his talents and rewards him with some new gear. Watching as Erebus was brought into the black hole Carmen received muted flashbacks of his sister, with a sigh he turned toward [Plastic Peanut].

"Can you tell me where the nearest town is?" (Carmen)

In a listless and bland manner, [Plastic Peanut] pointed in a direction behind Carmen.

"The village of Humans and some Dwarves is in that direction." (Plastic Peanut)

"Thank you for your help." (Carmen)

And with that said, Carmen ventured off once more to find a village. Hopefully this time nothing would go wrong, it's not every day that you get abducted by goblins and forced into a ritual. Looking back on it, Carmen remembered that he never used his Trait; Aspect of Lightning. Maybe he'd use it in the Event tomorrow, make a scene and get some rewards for a grand performance.

Along his way, Carmen came across different beasts and animals. Every chance he got he would murder them in the most cold-hearted way he could think of at the moment. Tearing wings off of birds and having them hobble around on the ground, breaking a deer's hind legs and watching in drag itself in hopes of escape.

While cruel in appearance, Carmen was in actuality trying to get in character for how he thought he should act for the Event tomorrow. While one would call him crazy or insane, Carmen thought better of himself and stuck with the saying, 'there's a method to my madness.' In Hollywood, Carmen would be considered a method actor, amongst the likes of Jim Carrey, Heath Ledger, and Nicolas Cage.

After traveling for about 25 minutes, Carmen came across another party of people heading in the direction of the goblin village. This party was composed of people who were at least level 8, what was most surprising was a fellow who was level 10 amongst the group.

Every person in the party also had one piece of Unique equipment, although, they were all only pieces of armor. Regardless, every person in the party could be considered to be an 'elite' player, Carmen concluded that they were going to form a guild or they were already a part of one.

As Carmen was walking, the party wearily watched him and discussed amongst themselves.

"What's the deal with this skeleton? SHouldn't it be in the Undead region?" (???)

"Maybe he got lost and wandered here." (???)

"Maybe, but how'd he get here so fast?" (???)

"Not sure, is there any intel on the passive abilities of Undead?" (???)

"Other than Unbreakable Structure, not much is known. There are rumors about infinite stamina, but it is unconfirmed." (???)

"If it really is infinite stamina, that would explain how he got here so fast. Also, what's the deal with his height?" (???)

"Not sure, I thought there was a limit to how tall you could make a character." (???)

"Supposedly, but apparently people who received the limited-edition version in the giveaway are given more customizability." (???)

"That's kinda unfair in a way, is it not?" (???)

"If it was purely cosmetic, sadly a height advantage is still an advantage... I hope the customizability doesn't follow through with the regular limited-edition versions." (???)

"That'd be quite bad." (???)

"Indeed. Sad to see but VR Projekt has become quite popular recently and shareholders have been pushing for ways to get more and more money out of the game and the company and so the love behind the game gets lost." (???)

"Such is life I guess." (???)

"Not much we can do, either way, we make a living off of these games so there isn't much we can do." (???)

"True, maybe we should start streaming. Build a following then we can protest and give feedback that is beneficial to the consumer." (???)

"That's quite a whimsical dream you got there." (???)

"At least I have dreams!" (???)

"You don't need dreams to be successful. I've provided for myself to a sufficient degree with how I'm doing." (???)

"You're no fun!" (???)

For some reason, two of the party members began arguing as Carmen walked past. With slight curiosity, he looked at the party with a keener eye and was surprised. Standing amidst the men talking was a girl with black and subdued hair. A lady who was in every way similar to his sister was walking along with these people.

Dumbfounded, Carmen stopped in his tracks as the party walked past. The girl he was looking at seemed to sense his gaze and looked back. With a confused smile, she waved at Carmen and continued walking. Carmen felt his mind shatter, he was being choked by an eerie feeling of deja vu.

Holding himself back, Carmen thought back to how he ended up alone living in such a lavish home.
