Chapter 24

"Since everyone's done, let's go to little Luna's house."

William announced in an excited manner. But it wasn't long before someone poured cold water over it.

"Young man, I still haven't talked to you about secretly going to a very DANGEROUS and unknown world without telling anyone. As you are taking the guests out right now, so I won't stop you. But you better think of a very good reason for not telling me about this little adventure of yours by tonight. I would be very happy to hear it after dinner."

William was frozen stiff until Claudia walked out of the room.

'Saphira!! is it possible to buy good excuses from the store?'

(*Ding* No, and I suggest buying a gift as an alternative.)

'Right! A gift. Mother does like shoes. Does the store have shoes for females in them?'

(*Ding* It does have lots of shoes. All of them come with various types of buffs and charms. I will select some which fit Claudia's aesthetics and you can make a final pick. How does that sound?)

'Sounds good! Remind me to select some good ones for her before I return to home tonight.'

William turned around and started handing everyone some floo powder, and while looking at the girls he realised something important - they would completely standout in a normal street in London, not only because they were gorgeous and cute, but also because they had thick black capes and magic wands on them.

"Sophia, get me some nice outdoor dress for the girls, please."

Sophia popped out and said, "I had them prepared already, young master. I have put them on their beds in their respective bedrooms."

William gave a quick thanks and the turned to the girls.

"You can't go out this way as this world's dressing style is quite different from yours. Go back with Sophia and she will help you choose something you would like. Oh, right! Tabitha, you shouldn't take your staff with you. It would create unnecessary problems. Though if you really want to, you can keep it, I will just make some excuse if someone important enough asks."

Tabita just gave nod which didn't answer anything and walked away with everyone else.

While he was waiting for everyone else to change their dress, he started looking through a well-kept bookshelf kept in the living room. He was doing it just to pass time but suddenly a book, or more precisely, a word caught his attention - War.

He focused his attention on his soul link with Itachi and when he started feeling his presence, he asked, 'Do you know what is the best time to control a country, if you have a very capable subordinate?'

'Maybe...War?'

William expressed his excitement through the link and said, 'Exactly! A war. This decade will have quite a few wars and I just so happen to know when a few of the important ones will take place.'

Itachi was quite surprised by this revelation.

'How can you - Sigh! nevermind. Just tell me what I need to do at the appropriate time.'

William gave a self-indulgent laughter and focused away from the link. The two that would serve his purpose best would be The Tiana*men Sq*****e protests of 1989 and The Gulf War. If this world followed original Earth's history even somewhat closely, which it did, then these two were almost certain to occur.

Suddenly Louise's harsh shout broke him away from his daydream.

"Why are you giggling like a pervert while drooling like a dog? I knew it! My familiar is a total pervert."

William really wanted to stop his drool and apologize but the future seemed so bright that he had a very difficult time doing so.

Even the sweet Tabitha, who had appeared without the wand, looked at him in a concerned manner and said, "Gross."

William really wanted to retort about her words and feelings being out of sync, but it was Tabitha, so he let it be.

When William appeared in Lovegood's house without warning with four beautiful girls in tow, it certainly raised eyebrows..and a giggle of happiness. Well, those who raised eyebrows were adults, so no one paid attention to them.

William moved forward and picked up Luna in a gentle hug. He gave her a quick peck on her forehead.

"How is little Luna? Didn't elder brother promise to meet you very soon? It has been only a day and he has come to play with his cute sister again!"

Luna was very happy right now as she had met the most lovable elder brother - isn't it obvious, he has the best-tasting candies and lots of stories. But she was a little miffed too. Yesterday her mother had assured her that she had become an adult and it didn't sit right with her to be called little. So she pupped her cheeks, turned her cute face away from her big brother, and waited for him to apologize for the right reason.

William, on the other hand, like most homo sapien males, was pretty insensitive towards this important life-saving skill called 'feelings and their effects on girls your age'. So, it was a given that he wouldn't understand what Luna wanted him to do, when she went from a smiling face to a puffy face.

Thankfully he did have a very essential skill called common sense. He quickly brought out some sour candies - Luna had liked them a lot during Mrs Weasely's reunion party, discreetly put them her small hands and said, "Oh! Is little Luna unhappy? This stupid brother must apologize for it. I'm sorry~~ Won't Luna forgive me?"

As soon as Luna took a peek at the candies her heart had already betrayed her. But she felt that it would be too easy for her elder brother to be forgiven right away. So she decided to wait for ten more..no, fifteen more seconds before she would forgive him. But when her brother mentioned her name without little added before it, she decided to forgive him instantly and move towards a much more important task - taking an inventory of the precious candies.

Luna returned a peck to William's forehead and said, "I will forgive you, big brother. but you must not call Luna, little Luna, from now on. Mother told me that I'm a grown-up, so you can't do that."

William just couldn't control himself at the sudden burst of cuteness, and he pinched both of Luna's soft cheeks and said, "What? Did this stupid brother make such a big mistake? Okay, from now on I will not make the mistake again. I will not call little Luna, little."

Luna gave a satisfied nod before curiously looking at the four girls behind William. He realised the meaning of her gaze, and started enthusiastically introducing each one of them to her.

"They are you big sisters from now on. Say hello to everyone, little Luna."

Kirche and Henrietta were quite comfortable with gaining an unexpected cute sister. But it was quite different for Louise and Tabitha. They still hadn't recovered from Luna's cuteness attack.

As everything was getting surrounded an invisible cloud of fluffiness, it was harshly broken by the cold and rapid knocks on the front door.

Also, as you may have noticed this is my first time writing a novel. I am gathering experience to write a good original novel. Don't worry I will finish this first before taking any other project. If you have time go to this quora link below, it actually helps me out :)
