A Handy Tool Indeed

An early morning deep within a forest that is covered with fog.

Aries was skeptical at first to go down the big tree to try looking for food as his sense of vision will be limited due to the thick fog that covers everything he sees 4 meters around him.

He could hardly distinguish the shapes of some plants just by looking atop of the tree what more if he will be on the ground.

But the hunger on his belly and dryness of his throat is killing him. If this continues he either will die of starvation or thirst.

"An persons body is made up of water by at least 60%, each and every living cell in the body needs it to keep functioning.

Also it acts as a lubricant for joints and regulates the body temperature through sweating and respiration.

An individual can go without water seems to be a week but how about food? I guess it's the same. That can also be the maximum time for me to stay alive. I am yet to have a body of an adult so the risks might be higher than expected" He thought.

He just vaguely remembered a show he watched before when a professor explains how long can a person survive without food and water.

"Before my strength wanes i need to move as soon as possible, gathering some food and water is the top priority for now, i will plan my next step once i achieve those things first".

He decided to used the big tree as his temporary base.

He went back through the hole to get a piece of a straight twig that measures at least a meter in length.

He also stuff some of the foxfire including little bark to keep it alive and kept in on his shirt after deciding to used it as a handy bag.

He was planning on using the foxfire as a torch at night just in case he got lost and unable to come back to this tree.

While the twig will be his main weapon in case he encountered some wild animals.

He put the twig along and the foxfire with his shirt-made bag and then tied it down on his back.

He went outside of the hole and inhaling some air deeply before exhaling back.

Desiciveness flashed through his eyes as he clenched his teeth and finally climb down from the tree.

He started walking away from the tree until his silhoutte was gone.

**************

After the young boy was looking around the forest for food. The thick fog before was nowhere to be found. It seems that the sun had already risen.

Aries was able to find his way back to the stream after hearing the sounds of water. He became alert more than never and walked forward slowly. Readying his twig just in case.

After probing that there was no one aside fron him, he slightly relax and drink a mouthful of water from the stream.

He also decided to take a bath.

A topless young man washing his body on a clean stream. This was the same stream when he encounters the Black Bear before so he is being cautious enough from his surroundings.

"Ouch!" He shouted.

His left foot encountered something down the water. Something pointy that made his left foot bleed. Although it is not deep enough to cause some trouble while walking later on.

He picked up the thing that hurts him, seems to be a small sharp and pointy object. The edges aren't that sharp but can be worked out if there's a good stone to sharpen it.

"Why have i never thought of this before? I can use this to make a spear or knife. This will help me alot to survive from this place" He thought while looking at the sharp stone.

And so he keep the stone while trying to look for more. After finishing his bath, he got six pairs of little sharp stone with him.

He found some tall grasses just beside the stream and cut it using one of these stone.

*kachak* A tall grass smoothly falls down after being cleanly hit on its trunk.

"This is a handy tool indeed, now i can also use this grasses to create a rope and tie one of this stone from my twig".

He had these simple knowledge from playing games that provides information on how to turn raw materials into something useful.

Now Aries was planning on making a spear.
