The Bow and the Traps
**12:30PM**
A boy was sitting on a large boulder while eating a piece of smoke fish. Aries did not bother to make a fire as it is too time consuming and might alert unwanted animals due its wonderful smell.
After eating his fill, he started working on the bow first.
Bamboo has been used starting in primitive days to make fine bows as it was tough, straight grained, very flexible and easy to work.
The bow that Aries will be making was neither fine, nor laminated but is quick and easy to make, and maybe it will work.
To build the bow he will be needing a piece large cane of bamboo. The cane should be at least two-eights of an inch thick, and the cane needs to be about four or six feet in length.
He has the materials beside him and he created some measuring stick copied from the system just to make sure that what he will be making was proper and flexible enough for his needs. He had chosen a medium dried bamboo for the best usage.
He started working on it until he was able to make a decent bow. He already had a stone knife created just for this purpose so the job was much easier compared to using the unedged sharp stone.
For the bowstring, Aries made a yucca cordage. The bow is 3 and a half quarter inch thick, is a bit powerful, about 35 pounds. He personally properly designed a twig handle for the grip of bow so he will be more comfortable. It was securely wrap in a cordage as well.
This is good for taking down some animals just as big as him. Aries would not hesitate to use this bow if he saw a prey later on.
He also created 2 dozens of arrows made from the same materials.
Aside from it, he also finished creating 12 pieces of traps for Ground Snare and Tension Traps
Aries check the status of the equipments from the UI system.

He was contented with the result. It was past afternoon and he needed to set the traps so that he can check the results by tommorow.
He placed the ground traps on a different location not far away on the stream as he figured that this animals will be visiting this place fron time to time to drink some water.
Also he put some smoke fish as bait on it and left the place going back to his camp.
**5:30PM**
He was back at his camp and was making a fire. The place is becoming more and more unfriendly and he could feel that there's something or someone surveying his place.
Aries is not ready to fight to the death yet so he stop what he's currently doing and climb back to the tree. He's scared and so what. Cherishing his life is better than being dumb brave.
There were many things that he had yet to learn from the system and before he was confident enough to face these unknown monsters it is much better to be safe.
He then decided to create more traps nearby his camp and put some barricades around the tree by tommorow. He is not leaving the place until he can properly defend himself from this kind of situation.
While sitting atop of the tree where foxfire was his only light, Aries checks his character status.

It seems like there's a good thing happening on his body as both the Strength and Intelligence increases by 1 at some point. So he was more confident that if he just waited patiently he will reap what he sow in the next days to come.
It is already 7pm after checking his system time. He decided to sleep. But this night will be very special that Aries won't ever forget it in his life.
