The time for the Mo Clan's first team to enter the Desolate Wasteland had come.
"Let's go," Mo Shui excitedly said—to which Qai and the rest nodded in reply.
One by one, the five members of the group together with Shandian entered through the portal.
It only took around ten breaths before all of them made it through the spatial opening but it undoubtedly felt forever.
All of them fell on the floor out of dizziness upon reaching the other side of the formation. Some of them even had evident internal injury crossing through the spatial doorway.
The entire process of going through the formation was relatively quick but it was heavy. It felt like powerful Qi energies from all sides and directions were tightly squeezing an intruder.
The members of the team each took immediately some medicinal pills to be able to recover from the powerful backlash.
And when everyone regained their senses, they looked around and soon found out what the 'Waste' land actually looked like.
Outside of their expectations, the scenery that bared before them was like a lost paradise—everywhere is green.
What appeared before them was a large area of grassland with a scenic view of beautiful rivers and mountains from afar. And what even more surprised them was that the side of the portal from which they came from was actually a three huge boulders facing each other in a triangle position.
"At least we know where to exit," Mo Shui said after taking a deep breath.
"We have to go," Qai reminded everyone. "The next team would be here soon."
"True..," Hao Ren agreed. "But we have to be careful as well.. we wouldn't know if those bastards ahead of us have already laid some traps."
Everyone was in agreement.
Thus, all of them went in haste but very cautiously. They decided to head to the direction of the mountain range thinking that it might be the domain of the old 'Soaring Sky Sect.'
And as expected, Shu Liang rushed ahead to scout their way in.

After travelling some distance, the group reached a slightly forested area.
So far the group hadn't met any obstacle aside from occasional Expert realm demonic snakes and horned rabbits along the way.
Shu Liang suddenly halted in one of the three branches upon reaching the area and gestured to her group to stop.
"There are few huge nests on the trees ahead..," she warned.
"Let's check them out," Mo Shui bravely said.
After everyone agreed, they proceeded cautiously inside the area in a formation they developed—stealthily approaching the nests.

Back in 'The Hunters' Plateau,' all the cultivators left behind were in anticipation of the success of their disciples, family members and friends.
They neither had an idea of what was going on inside nor they had any means to see what was happening—they could only hope for the success of their return.
Thus, instead of waiting without doing anything, each of them kept himself of herself busy. Some went in the Darkwood Forest and kept on earning through hunting. Some engaged themselves in continuous trading while others spent the days cultivating.
In the eyes of cultivators whose lifespans were extended up to hundreds or thousands of years, 30-days-of-waiting was likened into a blink of an eye. So to wait for a month really meant nothing.

Back in the Desolate Wasteland, sounds of angry squabbling and gibbering reverberated.
It was the Mo Clan's first team.
They were fighting two adult Silvermoon Apes which stood about seven feet tall and were emitting a powerful peak Earth stage of the Sage realm aura.
The pair of apes, which had 'Ice' affinities, appeared to be mating partners whose territory just got disturbed—and from the looks of it, they were trying to protect something in the nest.
'Grooowwl,' 'grooowwl.'
'Waabooom,' 'waabooom.'
The two demonic beasts attacked with all their might.
One of them used 'Ice Stalagmite,' while the other used 'Ice Stalactite'—a perfect combination of skills.
The attacks were so swift and the area of the attack was really huge so much so that Qai and the other members of the team were clearly on the defensive most of the time.
"We have to do something," Hao Ren yelled.
"My ice attacks are useless," Mo Shui quickly answered.
Every member of the team was in disarray and felt that dragging the battle for too long would be unwise.
"We have to surround them and create a diversion," Qai suggested. "We have to give Lin Qiao the opportunity to activate her strongest fire attack."
Everyone understood what was Qai driving at. They had to counter the ice with fire in order to make an opening and afford them the chance to simultaneosly attack.
With the suggestion, Shu Liang swiftly jumped to position herself behind the apes while Qai and Shandian moved to the left and right sides of the apes.
The three Mo Clan members remained in front. Hao Ren tried to tank the attacks with his Metal defensive skills while Mo Shui stayed to deal the frontal damage. Lin Qiao was behind Hao Ren and attempted to gather her strength before activating her strongest fire attack.
Seeing that the pair of apes got confused with their sudden movement, all of them except for Lin Qiao started to make some light attacks to make the apes even more confused.
