First Move

Lin Anya was in a daze.

She didn't even notice that she was being pulled towards the car.

Sitting in the passenger seat, she can't help but glance at the man beside her. Seeing him focused in his driving makes her heart flutter. She wondered why the situation escalated so quickly. Earlier, she was just so frustrated about him giving flowers to a woman. But looked at her now, having a late night drive with the man she loves.

"You'll burn a hole through me if you keep staring this way."

Lin Anya bit her lower lip and she quickly turned her head straight on the road, acting innocent as if she had never been caught. She remained silent, but her mind was in a major chaos.

(I don't know if God is helping me, but thank you. God! T.T)

(Ugh. Did I stare too much?)

She blushed and kept cursing inside. She wanted to utter a word at the moment, but she failed. Her heart was thumping and she was beginning to sweat.

Wang Roc took a quick glance at her and smiled.

"Where are we going Boss Roc?" Lin Anya broke the silence between them because it's killing her.

"You'll know when we get there."

She nodded her head in agreement.

Both of them remained silent. But Lin Anya's mind was in frenzy.

("What should I do? What should I do?!!!")

("Is this considered a mid-night date or does that word even exist?!")

("Should I make the first move? Or will he?" What is the first move anyway?!!!")

(I think I didn't shave today. Did I? Huh?!! What am I thinking?! My God! I'm so disgraceful!)

Deep lines appeared on her forehead. She blushed all of a sudden and furrowed her brows again and again. She was fighting her inner thoughts badly. It really went south. Even though she's facing the car window, her musing deliberately betrayed her.

Wang Roc's mouth twitched just by listening to her. He was quite sleepy while driving, but thanks to her reverie his sleepiness died away.

"We're here."
