In the Darkness

Chang started to fight more desperately as they came into the darkness. Like a wild animal she started to unleash every bit of fury she possessed upon them hysterically. With her ferocity she was able to separate the two men momentarily. As she did, she spun, using the momentum to bash her elbow into the face of the man on the right.

As the man clutched at his bloodied face, Chang gritted her teeth and turned quickly to the surprised second man. Grabbing a hold of the front of his shirt for leverage Chang slammed her knee up into his groin as hard as she could, grunting with the effort. The second man went down groaning clutching between his legs. As he was no longer in the way at the moment, Chang pushed aside the man still holding his face staggering towards her.

As she ran past the man the man growled before savagely grabbing onto her hair, pulling her to the ground with a scream. As the man leaned over her with a sneer, still ripping on her scalp, Chang regretted her long hair ever so much.

Even though her eyes were watering badly from the pain, Chang kept them open, watching to where the silhouette of the man moved. Seeing him move away from her head towards her legs Chang waited until he got close to launch a kick at his gut. The man doubled over slightly as he gasped, but the kick was nowhere near as effective as she had hoped it would be. If anything, hitting him again had only enraged him further.

Looking at her with eyes reddened with fury, the man grabbed a fistful of her hair again. Ripping at it near her scalp, the man struck her across the face a few times, as he screamed epitaphs at her. Chang tried to grab at the hand that was causing pain in her head but she was becoming more numb and stunned with every hit. Trying to claw at an eye with her other hand, Chang received an even more powerful wallop that knocked her out of his own grip and to the ground.

As Chang lay on the cold ground, it was hard to make sense of anything. Even the warmth that flowed onto her face from her nose seemed to make no sense. Piecing her thoughts together Chang realized how helpless she was. No matter how hard she fought she still lost. She was still powerless over what was happening.

With glassy eyes, Chang barely registered that the second man, who had moaning on the ground, had already gotten up. Eyeing her with hatred, the man grabbed ahold of her exposed legs, digging his fingers into her flesh painfully. As the one man held her legs, the man with the bloodied face used both his fists to tear open her new tank, as well as the camisole underneath. Once the cold air hit her flesh Chang felt herself start to stir again.

'No! You will not have your way!' Gritting her teeth Chang bucked and and tried to lash out with every part of herself. As she roared out against them one of the men made the mistake of putting a hand over her mouth, only to meet her teeth.

"Fuck this little bitch!" Tasting blood in her mouth, only partly her own, Chang heard the strike more instead of feeling it. Feeling the pair of hands on her legs trying to spread them, Chang tried to kick them free.

The longer it went on Chang could feel desperation clogging her throat, she just wanted to be away from what was happening. Breathing heavily Chang struggled until she heard a small click before a piece of cold metal was pressed against the side of her neck.

"Enough! Just stop struggling already! Who told you to behave so savagely? We're just going to teach you a little lesson now, so stop fighting already. After all it'll be better if you're warm." Shivering in disgust Chang looked away from his eyes, aware of the sharp pressure against her throat. Leaning over her, the man watched to see what she would do as he sneered down at her.

As she looked off, Chang felt a few tears of futility slip from her eyes to hit the ground. Chuckling a little evilly the man tapped the blade against the side of her cheek a few times as he called her a good girl.

Gasping back a sob, Chang clenched her jaw tighter and tried not to think about what was happening to her. In the end living was more important. If she lived she could get past this. Biting her already bleeding lower lip, Chang felt a few more tears slip out as the hands wandered invasively on her. Trying to make her mind not overly focus on the situation, set her mind to wander. Without intentions though Chang felt her thoughts go to Jian.

'Jian. .Jian.. I wish you were here..'

---- ---- ---- ----

After leaving Chang's place of work, Liang JianAmal went elsewhere to get a meal and set about having necessary things sent to the apartment for Chang and himself. After taking care of what was necessary, Liang JianAmal awaited her return at the apartment, intending to surprise her with his presence. As the time trickled away slowly, his patience drew thin. When he saw that it was already almost two in the morning, the man grabbed his jacket and decided to walk to meet her at her work.

Walking briskly, Liang JianAmal was eager to see her again, especially after last night. when he closed his eyes he could still feel and taste, her soft, sweet lips. A block before he reached her workplace, Liang JianAmal heard the sound of sharp grunting coming from the alley way he was passing.

Curling his lip in disgust at the lewd sounds coming from the darkness, the man continued on without stopping. As he passed he heard the sound of fabric tearing, before the sound of a gasp or muffled sob from a woman' voice.

Sighing he stopped in his tracks, and started to turn back.

'What if it was Chang?' As the dark thought crossed his mind, he heard another short gasp. 'That almost sounds like her.' Maybe because he had connected it to her in his head, Liang JianAmal felt his brows draw together. Narrowing his eyes he could not help but immediately storm into the darkness.
