Chapter 5 : Bad/Good Luck
Well I don't need to go to school so may as well spend my time playing and leveling up, but before all of that, time for a washroom break and food.
It was five in the morning and I needed to be very careful not to wake my family or I'd be in for it. Best way to start the day was with a bowl of Life cereal. Once I was fed, I returned to my room, posting a sticky note outside telling them not to disturb me.
I stuffed my head into the helmet and the tingly feeling that I now just noticed, happened and suddenly I was back in our division room. Nobody else was there. I got up and walked out of the room hoping to not be disturbed. No such luck existed for me and I ran into a player that I hadn't seen yet and never wished to see. It, not him. Looked like Ray Allen. In the flesh.
Why me, oh cruel world, why me.
"Well look who it is, my pal s-stutter tongue. Let me guess you're here to be hired as a maid." I didn't respond, and instead sprang past him. Trying to outrun the words that followed:
"I-im gonna have a lot o-of fun with y-you!" The words bounced off the walls, making it impossible to outrun.
I burst through the doors and found myself in the courtyard. Sprinting to the gate, I pushed my way through and didn't stop running until I reached the edge of the forest. Stopping to catch my breath, I thought, why is Ray here? He could be anywhere but here, so why here.
My mind calmed down enough for me to head in and start leveling my stats and stuff. The monsters inside the forest were only a level or two higher than mine so it was a bit of a challenge; well at least I would get good levels out of this. Around the twentieth wolf, a herd of wolves and forest cats surrounded me. At a singular glance I saw that I had leveled up six times.

So, I have 30 stat points two spend. What would the logical thing to spend them on be? Before I had the chance to decide, a wolf charged at me. With my speed I was able to dodge and strike out with a MANA orb. The level 24 orb did around 180 damage, and with the wolves' health being at 200 it took two shots to finish. Another glance. Level 25, so I leveled up from that wolf.
/ At intervals of five your health will go up to be fifty with this, starting at level 25. Health increase by 100. This rule also applies with MANA and STAMINA /
My stats looked like. With 35 stat points to spend.

Well now all I have to do is survive this and I'll be good. The rest of the battle went as smoothly as when I had just started. Afterwards, when I was looking for loot, I heard a strange noise coming through the trees. Five seconds later a big wolf that had a cat's tail and whiskers, came barreling out. Oh, I am totally screwed. The monster had a level of 35 and had a health of 500 it was also deemed a boss, so most likely had a damage bonus, possibly making him able to one shot me. I did the one thing that comes naturally when facing a monster that could kill you. I ran. Thank god that it didn't follow me. After making it to the edge of the forest I slowed my pace and went the route back to my room. As I returned I decided to put my stats into something.

25 on speed. 5 on endurance. Good so far. I may be powering speed too much. I should start spending on other stats like endurance or strength. I decided to go look for something to eat in game. On my way to the food area, I saw one of the posters that was promoting the division battle.
I grabbed it so that I could study it while I ate. The rules were that you couldn't cheat by using banned items, you were not allowed to use healing potions if you had any; the only healing you couldn't get is from your teammates' healing spell. I had no clue that there where healing potions. Any weapons that you had attained were allowed. That was it for the rules.
The battles would be ranked by points. You started with zero and each battle you won would give your team one point. You would need a total of five points to be in the final. After reviewing the info, I looked at the time. So, I have two hours till we said we would meet up. Best to try to level more.
So I head back into that forest to challenge that big cat wolf boss with the strategy of running if my health started to go too low. I walked into the clearing with the hope of the boss spawning. The roar that I heard earlier happened and the boss sauntered in.
