"Oh, and this is Kara, our guild master."
The women frowned at me and said "Already made some friends? Well, I don't think it's for too long, I know your fighting skills, we can help you. But I don't really think that we are going to have enough time" she appears to be mean. But at the same time she precise, if this is a guild, I got to take quests in order to get money, and according to my fighting experiences, I'll not survive. I got the fact that there is nothing left for me in this world in my head. No matter how many times W said that I'm important here, he will never change my mind. I'm just another elf in this world, I'm nothing but a body, a body with feelings and mind. But in this world, I will never be important. The main character - the hero. Is already chosen, and it's not me. I mean, what hero can turn out of me? I'm a girl without any targets, I'm a girl who fell from the roof. "Kara! Don't scare a new girl!" Seraph stood up and yelled at her. Kara responded by a glare at me and face expression looked someone just told her a funny joke "Her family is the rich guys, Seraph. She will not survive the harsh life in the guild" she paused and gave a feather that already had the fresh ink on it, and the contract. The contract was stating about my position in the guild, and what everyone got to listen to the guild master. Also, there was a lot of different things that are not as important. Like: cleaning the guild hall up if you left some blood or something else there. But what caught my eyes was the fact what if I choose to leave, the only way is going to be dead, but it's still not going to work because they are still going to have my soul. This contract is just like the one to sell your soul to the devil. But still, it was too late. I had to sign it.
I carefully grabbed the feather from her hand and began signing it. I slowly began drawing my curly sign but in the middle, I paused and said "this contract, is like selling soul to the devil" Seraph took a close look at the contract "dang. What did I sign before?" I realized he was not really paying attention to it. His face was shocked, he reminded me of my self when he told me that there was another way, and I could have escaped from here. I finished signing a contract and hand it to Kar, she smirked and looked at my signature "Well, welcome to Emerald Enclave. Seraph, I see you found the right way to speak with Reinys, please show her around" after that, she left the room and never closed the door. Seraph told me to stand up and follow him. Once we exit the room I saw how big the cave is, it also had two floors. On the first one, there was a kitchen. Seraph says that there is always someone there, even at night. Also, there was something he called 'guild hall' , right in the middle of it there was a huge dining table with exactly fifty chairs. There was also a weaponry right next to cave gates. Seraph told me to always close the gates after self, just for safety. Next, we walked upstairs, I count fifty rooms. Are there fifty members of this guild? According to all book I've read, the biggest amount of people in one guild was twenty-five. But as I understand, this guild is secret, so there is a lot to expect.
"How many people are in the guild?" I asked him. Seraph stopped "let me count, according to my information there are twelve members" But why is there this much rooms? Why is there this many chairs if there are only twelve members including me I guess. Something in here is not right in here, and I got to find out what it is. Those fifty people who those rooms actually belong to are most likely dead. Are they? While Seraph was walking around and telling me about the guild, I was not even listening to him, all I cared about is what is going to happen next. But he easily interrupted me by showing me my room "This is the available room we got for you, feel free to enter and look around" I walked in a room, it was much smaller than mine before, but at least it had something to sleep on and desk, after all, I plan to stay here for long. I didn't plan to die here.
I wandered around my new room. There was no sign of the previous owner, and that was great for me, I don't want any monsters in a closet. Well, at least for now. My room also had an old mirror, on its sides it already began to turn black a little. I looked in a mirror and fixed my hair. There was nothing wrong in it, it was a normal mirror, and not like in horror stories, the mirror was okay. In the room, there was a huge closet, it was about sized as my old one, but still little smaller. I opened a closet and a bunch of weapons just fell on me, I easily dodged, but this all made a huge noise. I guess I have no monsters in a closet, only millions of weapons that are trying to talk to me and making me use them. It was worse than a monster, millions of voices that knows you can hear them and that are trying to talk to you, are the reason why I could have a lack of sleep unless I get rid of all of this trash.
Seraph heard a noise and rushed in my room "You okay?" He asked that dumb question again, but this time I'm okay, but he is not, is he blind not to see?
