Teiran pov: Not Impossible

We sat down in my house preparing to go through the training for her right of passage. She doesn't know its training but no one that I've met has ever been able to bring something of the mind into reality. As the mind is flexible, the real world is not. Bringing something with no substance into a world to solidify it is very hard. Some take years to pass, other months. Today we see what she is capable of.

With her hands on top of mine facing up she leans forward with her eyes closed. My heart skipped a beat! Seeing her that way makes me realize she trusts me. I don't hesitate and I lean forward and touch foreheads.

We end up in a green field of sorts. Its a decent size. Three football fields wide and two football fields long. All around the edge are pine trees and brush, almost as if to entrap us there. I had always wondered what another person's mind would be like.

"Where are we?"

"It seems we are inside your head." I replied.

"Why my head?" She was clearly confused. She walked slowly towards me while taking a look around.

"Its your head because you need to bring something that you create here into the physical world."

Her head snapped towards me. "I have to make something here and bring it to the physical world? THATS the test? You have got to be kidding me. That sounds impossible!"

I laughed and shook my head. "That is exactly what I said when I was told what I needed to do. Took me a little over a month to do it. Now I can do it in my sleep. Truth be told, it has happened while I was sleeping." Its really embarrassing. But I got the hang of it and no mistakes like have happened in quite some time.

She tried holding in a laugh resulting in a scoff and a smirk. Then she was full blown laughing. It is such an absurd idea that even in my sleep I transfer objects into the real realm. I started laughing with her because were it anyone else, I would be laughing at them also! We laughed so hard, we were tearing, trying to catch our breath. When we thought we were finally going to stop we looked at each other and started up again.

After starting up two more times we finally were able to stop completely and focus. "Okay, now that that is out of our system, lets get started."

She nodded her head. "What first? Is there a teaching? Or do I conjure something here?"

"First you will think about what you want to bring into the real world and imagine it in front of you. Anything at all as long as it isn't alive, like an animal. I brought a couch to the real world. The bigger it is though, the harder it will be to bring into the real world."

She slowly turned on the spot looking around at her surroundings. When she got back to me she closed her eyes and stood there. In a sense i saw the wheels of her brain working, thinking of objects to bring forth. In an instant there was a case in front of me.

Its all I saw so I walked around to see the front and it was a blade case. It was filled with a myriad of blades. They ranged from small knives to katanas, short swords to a dual handed blades. Only one of every type of blade, but there were many blades. She opened her eyes and stepped back in shock. It was only a foot away from her.

"Good. This being what you chose, you have the first step. Like I said, it may be hard to bring into the physical realm, but this is all part of the training. As soon as you bring this object and everything in it to the physical realm, you have finished your right of passage. Now, try and imagine the cabinet and all of the blades somewhere in the house in the physical realm. When it transfers, we will be removed from this place."

"Okay."

She took in a deep breath, let it out and closed her eyes. I could see her eyes darting behind the lids searching for a place to out the cabinet. I poked and pushed at the cabinet just to see how heavy it was. Its light enough where I could move it on my own if I weren't worried about the blades cutting me open or falling all over the place.

Next thing I know, we are in the dining room and the cabinet was in the corner, both of us in a seat at the table. There are no words to how shocked I was or if it even showed on my face.

"H-how...? T-that should h-have..."

She was as shocked as I was. "Um. I- I don't.. I don't understand. How did that happen so easy?"

We were staring at each other, and after a few moments we laughed at how absurd the notion was that maybe, just maybe, she was so much batter than me and anyone else we have yet to meet.

"Well, I'm hungry. How about you? Lets make dinner. Wanna help? Or shall I be the one helping?" We laughed and she helped me cook an extra cheesy, veggie lasagna. After eating we sat in the living room with Funimation on an old anime and we talked. And talked. And talked. By the time we headed to bed, it was nearly 2AM.

She stopped outside her door just across from my room and cleared her throat. "Thank you. I don't think I could have figured any of this out without your help." She stared straight into my eyes. I got jittery so I pulled a joke. Maybe not the best idea.

"There is a way you could repay me..." and leaning against my door I raised a single brow. I wanted her to catch on and play it off... maybe it was too much to ask because she looked at me with surprise. O

"Nonononono! I'm kidding! I promise! I was joking!" I immediately stood straight hands extended- and she laughed at me. She got me. She actually got me at my own game. I laughed too. She was laughing so hard she almost fell over.

Instinct told me catch her. I grabbed her shoulders to keep her up and we stood there, staring into each others eyes. 'When did this happen? When did I become to attached to you?' I leaned in, she closed her eyes and we kissed.
