Banded ape

The mission was on one of the worlds that had a lack of inner disciples since it was on the inner part of the sects reach. this location meant that the world was a common stopping spot for members of the sect leaving little reason for many permanent rulers. this meant when nick teleported to the world no one so much as batted an eye making his job that much easier. according to the mission scroll the creature was a native banded ape that had mutated into a demon beast after eating some form of treasure. the last place the creature was seen was a small village in the southern mountains called kain were it had eaten one of the village guards children. nick flew out of the cultivation city after figuring out roughly where he was headed without disturbing anyone else. once far enough from the city nick unfurled his wings and accelerated to his top speed on a planet instantly reaching around mach six. the sonic boom only appeared after nick was several dozen miles away starling the locals. it took nick only a couple of hours to reach the area of the last sighting.

Folding his wings behind him nick brought himself to a complete stop sending a rush of wind forward from it being dragged behind him. spreading out his senses nick found the village which was about two kilometers away and made his way there while scanning for any signs of the ape. nick arrived at the village but didn't find the creature meaning it either wasn't here or was capable of hiding from nicks senses. this didn't bother nick since all it did was delay the inevitable for the beast. nick went through the system shop and found what he was looking for quickly , a blood seeker. the blood seeker was a strange stake with the interesting ability to find whatever it was sent after but it shattered afterwards. nick needed to have something of the apes in order to use the stake but the lingering aura the beast left near the village was perfect. gathering the aura was fairly easy once done the stake lit up and flew off in a certain direction. nick followed the stake closely doing the same as it and ignoring all obstacles including trees in the way , carving a path of destruction leading straight to the beast.
