Frigid Metal
the temperature of the gun suddenly rises making me drop it to the ground, then i stared at it looking at the problem at hand.
"well this sucks" because of the doubled "rate of fire ", the gun's temperature rises too quickly , that the barels and other parts has no time, to cooldown, making it somewhat unusable in war against an army of mutated zombie.
'good thing i tested it out' if not i dont know what will happen if the gun your holding started to melt from to much heat while fighting zombies hahaha
well ,i'll need to find a solution to this ,hays... hmmm. ow yeah ,i got it i just need to get my hands on some frigid metal .i guess its time for me to check the market.
so without further ado, i grabbed the 4 feet gun that has already cooldown a bit and return it to the lab ,
"Hanna im going to the Market for a bit, will you join me, its bad to always your lock yourself here" i yelled after hiding the labs door
"no...i will just stay here, dont worry about me"
she answered
"hmmm. alright then" I didn't push her so that she will not think im interfering with her life too much.
maybe because of the things that happen to her and her family she seems to distrust other people alot, or maybe she didn't even trust me fully, that either , its not like i need to earn her trust immediately .
walking to the markets place i came to the place where material are being sold ,i can see various beast parts but it didn't caught my eye because most of it are from a low leveled mutant
so i stopped looking and continued my way where the metals materials are located,i found the most basic metals i know ,because this is the early stage of mutation most of the most powerful metals didn't emerge or formed just yet ,
but a few decades from now ,those bizarre kind of metal that will make there appearance and after that legendary kinds of weaponary will be born.
but before that happens i will need to satisfy myself with what the world can provide for now,
after walking around for a good amount of time I finally came across in what im looking for , i walk toward the stall and grabbed a metal surrounded by ice.

im now back to my old house, i let the shop workers brings the material outside my house.
"what are those things you brought?. it was too cold even thou im standing from really far away distant" Hanna asked after seeing the mini frigid metal mountain that the workers dumped in my backyard
"its frigid metal or should i say temperature control, well i better get back to work " putting all the metals in my storage,i turned around to enter the lab
i never thought that the price for this metal is 50 folds lower than I expect it to be.
to tell you the truth all of the high powered weapon starting from 2023 will be equipped with frigid metal inside so that the weapon will not overheat because of rapid firing
so frigid metal is a must have on gun type weapons causing its price and demand to increase to a minimum of 10 gold per 1 kilo , so 1 gold for 5 kilos is totally worth it
this must be the shop's total stack over the years because no one must have discovered its uses yet
so to sum it have i have a total of 150 kilos of it now, enough to cover half of the gun type weaponry needed for this small sector

i modified the weapons once again i covered the barrel with frigid metal that i have melted using my high temp furnace the cooling of the metal is so fast that i need to hasten my work
because if the metal was below 400,°C the metal will instantly cool off
after covering the black ore barel with frigid metal, i also covered all of the parts that most likely to increase in temperature when beings use .after that i reassembled the gun once again.

after shooting 240 bullets without stopping, my shoulders become sore, but the gun showed me good results , it didn't overheat like the last time, mission success.
