Chapter 8: Arriving home

Arriving at the airport, I quickly checked in and got on the plane,' home here I come '.

The flight took almost nine hours and by the time I arrived at the airport, the sun was already kissing earth goodbye. I was disappointed in seeing that no one had come to take me from the airport but I was already used to getting forgotten about.

Well it kind of hurt, but I also understood that my family was busy. Probably maybe their busy schedules made them not make it, too bad because I needed a family. I just wished we could go back to our small family back then it was just I and my mom, although it was the hardest year for us at least I had the warmth of family though it wasn't a whole family at least I had my mother by my side.

Truth be told I already knew no one would come to pick me up from the airport but still I had a glimpse of hope only to realize it would only happen in my dreams.

I did not want to waste any more time at the airport since I was so exhausted. I quickly got out of the airport and took a car to the Yang mansion. The Yangs were the second most rich and influential family and so I only mentioned the name and the carb driver did not need any further instructions.

It took me two hours to arrive at my destination. The sky was already dark by the time I arrived at the Yang mansion. I alighted from the carb paid and waved the carb driver goodbye before dragging my suitcase to the main door.

I kept ringing the doorbell for quite some time but there was no response, I had almost given up before I heard the sound of the door opening.

Nany Lin lan was the person who opened the door for me, she raised me since I stepped foot in the Yang mansion by then I was only five. She was the only person who understood me since my mother had no time for she was forever busy making my siblings and making sure to prove to my grandparents that they won't regret the decision of accepting her as their daughter-in-law and thus neglected my presence. This was the biggest reason that made me despise my grandparents because them pressuring my mother to help with the family business she gradually drifted away from me because of the responsibilities she had to shoulder.

Nanny Lin Lan was so happy seeing me that she just stood there without moving a muscle, she could hardly believe that after five years I was back home. I caught a glimpse of tears running from the corners of her eyes before she hurriedly wiped them off.

Nanny Lin lan stared at me full of admiration and pride in her eyes before she suddenly broke down the silence, "you have grown into a fine woman, and what's this you also have grown some bumps and whaaaaat!!! your hips cannot be hidden! my little Jie has grown up so first"

'Did I grow up the first nanny! I remember quite well I finished high school with no changes whatsoever on my chest like other girls, if it were not for the facial appearance and my jade-like skin then I would probably be mistaken for a guy since I dressed in jeans and snickers more of a tomboy mmmm
