After Michael arrived he and Jay were dressed up in a camo uniform with a blade on their waist, 30 pounds of things in the backpacks, and a rifle of their choice.
"Uhh do you guys have the FN SCAR model?" When Jay asked, then men handed him the gun he wanted. "Oh and that FN 509 Tactical."
Michael had a handgun collection at home and he favored the same pistol that Jay chose, but he went with the AK12. After they had chosen the 'gun' which was really loaded with paintball rounds designed by the [S] Military. They were put in a Military vehicle and driven to the training grounds.
... ... ... ... ...
"ATTENTION!" Major Samuel yelled at the top of his lungs, and 10 men lined up in front. "This is Jay and Michael, your new comrades - in - training!"
"YES SIR! WELCOME!"
The men yelled, "Gear up in 2!" The men scurried to their tents as they geared up.
"Uhh Major Sam can I like go unpack the pack on my back? My shoulders are killing me!" Michael complained, but when the response was a harshly cold glare, he immediately straightened his back and shut his idiotic mouth.
Not long after ten men in full gear were lined up and ready to go, while Jay and Michael put down the combat ruck on their backs and joined the others. They were on a 'short march' to their training grounds which was not that far since it was a part of the land reserved for [S] Military. Jay was not jogging with the men but inside the combat vehicle following close behind, he had 'accidentally' forgot that the doctor said to him to not be standing or put pressure on to the joints in his leg for a long period of time and since the march is going to take a estimate of roughly 2 to 3 hours Major Samuel insisted for him to ride the car behind.
....
They finally arrived at the training grounds which was an indoor building with high tech machines that ran 24/7 while the recruits trained. The indoor training grounds were separated into four 'scenarios' there was the survival in the jungle, mountains (high temperature resistance training), the navigation skills training where they navigate in the dark, and the breaker. No one has beaten the breaker ever since it was created the record which was set by the maker of this new military was an astounding 39 hours. The lowest was just a few seconds set by a recruit who took his own life right after he was sent back for the failure to complete training.
Jay would only stay for the breaker which was tomorrow, back when Jace was his age they had the exact training as the breaker, except that it became a life threatening issue that those who didn't last more then an hour didn't last to see the next sun rise. It was covered up till now, the former survivors or 'the elite' has brought it back. Jace didn't see it as his own problem since he is not yet financially sponsoring them, but he wanted to see if Jay can beat his record or his father's.
Jace's record was 74 he was only taken out because the others feared that he would die any longer without water. But that record was beaten by none other then Noah Xaiver his son now deceased son. Noah was in their for 76 hours before he was pulled out by his ear by non-other then his pissed off wife.
'Gramps said pop's record was 76...80 should suffice.' Jay thought as he got off the vehicle and joining Michael who was pale.
