Chapter 59 The Amelia Family

Jay arrived in London where his uncle was living at. He's still a thirty minute drive from the place but he needs to drop by and get some supplies since he left only with a new phone and his wallet that had all his cards and some cash. Jace made him a new card that he puts money in every week. And that money was no small amount, even Jay was dumbfounded.

Anyhow, he was thankful to his grandpa who overloaded him with money. It was better having a lot then too little. Even though they couldn't reach him in any way he had their phone numbers saved on his new phone. He'll hurry to do this as soon as he can. He missed Amber dearly.

"Excuse me young fellow, we've arrived at the mall." The taxi driver said, actually they've been here for a while now. He just couldn't get the young man's attention. "The fair fee please."

"Oh sorry to delay you." Jay gave the taxi driver quite a lot he felt sorry for the man he had delayed.

"No problem at all young man." The taxi driver was actually quite frightened by Jay who was all built and tall, not to add that tattoo on his arm that showed. It was the middle of summer so everyone was wearing shorts and t shirts. "Have a nice day."

Jay got off the taxi and went inside the mall. It was a huge mall, divided by the lower floor was a groceries shopping kind of floor, the secound was the food court, the third and fourth floor was clothing and brand shops.

He researched about things to get, because all he had was the clothes his back right now. He missed his hoodies and everything too.

His mood immediately went up when he show his favorite brand in the mall. Like a fish in water he went a head and bought 'a little' more then he actually needed. 'Whatever I'll just bring this with me on the plane.' he thought to himself.

"We meet again Jay. What are you doing in London?" The voice of his distant uncle came followed by a tap on his shoulders.

"I came to meet you." Jay turned. "And to have a chat."

As soon as his uncle noticed all the bags he was holding he burst out laughing. "Some of your mother's genes aye? That's one hell of a shopping spree, how'd an unemployed teen afford all that?"

"Thanks to everything mom and dad left me I'm the most eligible bachelor in this world. Better then any prince. Not to mention grandpa's wealth." Jay smirked. "You probably know that."

"I'm known to be a very good guesser. You've come here to meet your mother's family. Am I right?"

"Bullseye." Jay grabbed his uncle's arm. "Now help me pick out gifts for everyone."

"You mean all these stuff already but none for us?" His uncle was dumbfounded, it was his first time that such a manly man was on a shopping spree like a spoiled rich girl in those cliche dramas.

--- --- ---

A few hours had passed and finally the two were done shopping (for now). The things Jay had bought filled the SUV's trunk and all the way to the backseats.

"I'm actually surprised that we have room to sit." His uncle said.

"Same here uncle Tom." Tom was his English name his Korean name was Kang Hyun.

"Let's hurry I'm already late two hours because of you."

... ... ...

"Finally here huh? Which bitch was it this time?" Tom's wife greeted Tom with a nice well toned slap to the face. "Who's this hottie?"

"I'm Jay, your distant nephew." Hearing that, the wife pulled Jay into the house leaving Tom with a hand print on his cheek and unloading all the shopping bags from the car.

Tom was a sales manager now, living a normal life on his own. Turns out he ran away from home when his father arranged a marriage for him without his approval. Now, he lives in a 80 acre two story house with his wife and son.

"I wasn't the one who beat up that uncle of yours. It was Andrian. He lost his cool when he found out how they were treating you. Leo stopped him from killing him. He got a huge scolding after that." Tom laid back on the comfy couch and slowly sipped his cup of tea, his wife beside him doing the same.

"Where's the other Amelia and Ivanov family members?"

"Me and my wife, son and daughter all live with my father in his mansion."

"That's all?"

"Well,...the rest are either dead or missing in action." The Amelia weren't the richest but were apart of the Korean military, a long linage of patriots dating back into history. "Your grandmother returned to the battle field after sister was born and never came back."

"Have you ever heard the name Hiro Akatsu?"

"Yeah he's the suspect behind my mother's death in action. His father is in the yakuza and so is he."

"I met him somewhere before can't quite put my finger on it though. Well, that doesn't matter now. I need you to go to the Xaiver Mansion in the US. Bring your wife and son there, I need to go and bring the rest of the family there."

"Okay...but any reason for this sudden move?"

"Safety."

"How about yours?"

"Mine was long gone ever since I stepped out of my territory."
