CHAPTER 110:

Leigh groaned once and again. "Goats. Fences. People complaining about them eating things other than grass maybe clothes. Food bills. Vet bills. They hid a dying buffalo once and you have no idea how much that cost, and the fine for transporting and stealing protected wide life."

She lifted the hand over her eyes and glared at him. "Goats aren't exactly welcome in most rental situations, you know. Your parents might not like one in their rental house. I know that any hotels or condos I might get my parents into won't like them."

"It did okay in the resort last night. There wasn't much to munch on in the bathroom after it ate the soap. We forgot to remove that. I took her over to Dad's workplace early this morning. He's enjoying her. He tended goats in the old country."

Leigh's painful groan, the way her hand flopped over her face, said she was waiting for Mikhail's eviction notice and the cancellation of any hopes for a Bella shop.
