The woman in front of him had a white dress slung over her tall and slender body. Her skin was pearly white, and her bright eyes were locked firmly on An Lin while she wore a mysterious smile on her face.

"Hi there, Bai Ling, long time no see."

An Lin forced out a greeting alongside a smile.

The woman standing before him was none other than the manifestation of the mastermind of the research institute, as well as the person who had kicked An Lin and the others out from the ruins on their last visit.

"What are you doing?" Bai Ling asked with a hint of a smile on her face.
