The headlight was offending to the eyes. As Lu Jia'er turned around, the light was turned off. When she saw the license plate, a radiant smile emerged on her face.

Ian, who was in the driver's seat, smiled a charming smile. He leaned over to pick up the bouquet on the passenger seat before he got out of the car.

Lu Jia'er was pleasantly surprised to see Ian holding a bouquet. She kept her eyes on him as he walked over slowly.

Lu Jia'er was the one that initiated the conversation. "You startled me there. How long have you been here?"

"Not long!" Ian replied with a gentle smile as he handed the bouquet to Lu Jia'er.

Lu Jia'er set her sight at the bouquet. They were not roses or lilies, but a bouquet of kapok. She had no idea when it became a thing to give a bouquet of kapok as a present. But this bouquet of kapok was quite interesting and was what Lu Jia'er would like.

"Is this for me?" Lu Jia'er asked, with a smile.
